Black Lung ::: The Disinformation Plague
David Thrussell is best known for his work as Snog, but Black Lung tends to be more of an interesting forum for electronic music. This, his third domestic album as B.L., is a mix of drones, minimal atmospheres, furious hardcore kicks and pseudo-political messages. Entirely instrumental and focused around the concept of AIDS disinformation.
Tracklist:
1 I Have No Mouth...

Black Lung ::: Profound And Sentimental Journey
Exulting in his purely digital being, David Thrussell is intent on building skyscrapers of ultra-distorted sound and darkest ambient. His vast array of stripped beats dismantled clanking and wrenched tones create a panoply of sonic information densely packed, always surprising with each contrasting twist. A 30 minutes EP.

Black Lung ::: The Depopulation Bomb
Black Lung's music has been called a 'soundtrack' for a film or a movie that has yet to be made, while others consider them to be a good choice of thinking man's ambient music. I've heard the duo, members John Lieberkuch and David Thrussell reside somewhere in Australia. This is the kind of music that requires the listener(s) to close their eyes, open their mind and expect the unexpected. If you decide to check out this CD, be sure to soak your thoughts heavily into cuts like "The Unreality Industry", "The More Confusion", "Angstlos" and the way-out there "The Drone Of The Castle". This is your pilot speaking... we sincerely hope you have a nice trip.
Tracklist:
1 The Unreality Industry
2 The Depopulation Bomb
3 Eugenics
4 Joyful Slaughter (Of The Capitalist Swine)
5 The More Confusion... The More Profit
6 God Was The First Cop
7 Angstlos
8 Batch Consignment
9 Blood Sacrifice
10 The Drone Of The Cattle
11 Population Control
12 Unreality Again

Black Lung ::: Uncomfortable Questions For Comfortable People
Released in 1996 this was perhaps Black Lung's best release. A lot of artists try too hard to sound dark and end up sounding either unoriginal or frankly silly. Uncomfortable Questions for Comfortable People on the other hand is genuinely dark. My favorite Black Lung release.
Tracklist:
1- Question One
2- Question Two
3- Question Three
4- Question Four
5- The Hive Pt 1
6- The Hive Pt 2
