The Moy Hall Estate Coffee Farm is a family owned business established in 1992 by Courtney Paul Fletcher and wife Paula Fletcher in the renowned Jamaica Blue Mountain. The farm is located in St Thomas, Jamaica on a 300 acre property.
What differentiates us from others is that we are located at 1,067 - 1,677 meters above sea level, which is the optimal altitude for growing authentic Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. This has earned us the name: KING OF THE BLUE MOUNTAIN. Our coffee is a premium, single estate, farm to cup brand which is 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. As it is from a single estate, the coffee is traceable and the taste profile is distinct and identifiable as we do not mix it with coffee from other locations.
At the level of our particular micro climate nature locks in the unique, exquisite and delicious taste of our coffee. The taste profile is described as deep, rich, floral tones, full body/creamy mouth feel, distinctive aroma, bright, clean balance and chocolaty aftertaste. It is now the coffee of choice once you taste it.
The coffee orchard is sun kissed by day with natural shade from low hanging cloud cover and an almost permanent mist. As the coffee berries ripen, they are expertly harvested by hand and pulped, fermented and washed in spring water. They are then dried on raised trays and hand turned, while being sun dried.
