Flower 4 You
This was a crazy weekend filled with busy busy busy... I didn't even see my stamp room for 2 days. I almost forgot what it looked like... I did however see the splitcoast challenge today to make rolled flowers... So I am glad that I had a few minutes to play before work today... I absolutely LOVE paper/rolled flowers and anyone that has ever seen my gallery knows this already... Thank you so much for such a wonderful challenge today... I used my spellbinder's bity blossoms die to make my flowers... I added a little bit of glue gloss to my flowers and sparkled them up with some fairy dust... They look awesome in real life.. Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you like what I have done...
Happy Stamping!!!

Fold Over Bookmark
I AM UPDATING THIS SO EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THIS CAN INDEED BE USED AS A BOOKMARK.... I scored the back flap every 1/4" so that it will fit in any thickness of book. The decorated front part with be outside the book and displayed for all to see. It is too pretty (IMHO) to tuck away inside a book anyway... So the flower isn't going to affect using this particular bookmark in any way... :)
This is the first time I have made one of these bookmarks but I have to tell you I absolutely love how this turned out... the ribbon worked nicely for me, the flower turned out great and I absolutely love this DSP. I hope you like what I have done too...

This is my 4th DTGD challenge card.. I am still quite a bit behind but I am working my butt off... :) This card was really fun to make... I made my flowers with the bity blossoms die from spellbinders and I added glue gloss and glitter. I also used the new embosslit from stampin up and I covered them with glitter as well... My ribbon was dyes using re inkers and water... I love seam binding ribbon... This was a pretty simple card to put together but it sparkles like nothing else... LOVE SPARKLES!!!! DT Submission
Thank you for stopping by today... This is a special day for me as I just recently submitted the following 4 cards to a company for a DT contest they were running... I hope my photography meets their standards and that they find my work compatible with the rest of the DT. I miss being part of a group of stampers that help inspire others with their work. In the past I was on Riley's color dare team and Lori's DDIC team and I miss working with those ladies. I am hoping to become part of another team of stampers that share their inspirations and ideas with others. So here are the 4 cards I chose to create for my submission. Wish me luck in my current adventure..
Thank you so much for stopping by. Please let me know what you think. Your comments inspire me to continue or strive to do better...

Milk Cartons galore
I wanted to play around a little bit today with some of my new stuff and since I really liked the colors today, I decided to make my milk carton with the challenge colors.. Everything on this card is Stampin Up including the flower.. I hope you like what I have done with the milk carton die.. It is truly an adorable and must have die... If you don't have it... Get it!!!
I was sitting in my stamp room today and my 8 year old son came in and asked if "we" (the kids) could make milk cartons today... So I had all of the kids pick a color and cut out their milk cartons.. This is the one I made with them and I absolutely love it... The flower is made with the scallop punch from Stampin Up!...
**To make the flower with the scallop punch cut in towards the center in between all of the scallops making sure not to cut all the way to the center. My red milk carton used 3 scallops and the purple used 2. Make sure you off set your "petals" so they aren't right on top of each other.*** I hope you will try this flower.. It is easy and adorable...

Beautiful Wishes
Here is my card for today's challenge. We had to use stitching on our card either by sewing machine or faux stitches.. I wanted to dip out and go with the faux since I am still recovering from knee surgery, but I didn't. I whipped out the sewing machine and I did a double stitch around my main panel. My card base is Calypso Coral and I added a focal layer with 2 different DSP that I stitched together with a double stitch. My flowers were made using the spellbinders bitty blossoms set. I used a paper tool kit from McGill to create the dimension in the flowers. I then applied a small amount of glue gloss and then added a sprinkling of fairy dust (pralines n cream). If you don't own glue gloss and fairy dust and you are making paper flowers, I highly recommend you get it... They are awesome... I added a lace band and a few pearls to this card but wanted to leave it pretty simple in design so the sentiment was my focus. I hope you enjoy what I have done here and would love to hear your comments.
Happy Stamping!!!

Flower CASE
What a fantastic gallery of cards to choose from today... One of my favorite days to play along with the challenges is Sunday... Maybe because I really don't have to think about what I want to do, I just have to go with someone else's great idea... I absolutely love how this card turned out... All of the elements went together very nicely for me... I had the flower already made and sitting on my desk for a week now and finally had an opportunity to put it to good use... The flourishes were sitting in a scrap bag so I didn't have to cut them, I just pulled them out of the bag... the lace was cut to use on my forth of July card and I didn't like it so I didn't use it... Needless to say all of the elements of this card were nicely sitting pre-made around my craft room... I hope you will enjoy my card today... Please let me know what you think...

Crumb Calypso
Here is my card for today's color challenge. I hope no one gets upset but I had to use Creamy Caramel because I don't own any Crumb Cake yet. (It's on order) That being said... This card took me a long time to create. I spent close to 21/2 hours trying to perfect these flowers while discussing dress patterns on the phone with my mom... I am super happy with how these flowers turned out and I plan to make as many of them as I possibly can... Credit for the flower tutorial definitely goes to Donna Salazar and her magnificent eye for details...
Let me explain a little bit to you about the craftsmanship that went into these flowers... I hope I have done Donna proud. I cut out multiple flowers in multiple sizes from spellbinders carnation creation and rose creations dies using pages from a dictionary. Then I cut the foliage. I inked every cut flower with Calypso Coral using a sponge dauber. I then placed all of my inked flowers in my color catch box and spritzed with cappuccino pearls mist. I dried and scrunched all flowers. I began layering the flowers largest to smallest until my flower was complete. I then began to "scrunch" all of the flower petals to make the 3-d flowers. Once I achieved the desired look, I took glitter glue and randomly placed it onto the flowers and added a bronze color fine glitter and once again dried the flowers in my color catch box. While drying I was continually scrunching so the flower didn't flatten. Once this was complete I added my rhinestone to the center of the flowers and then added them to my card... Thank you so much Donna for sharing such a fantastic tutorial and I can't wait to see what other great ideas you come up with... Can't wait to get my Wonderful Wings dies and Grand Peony...
Please let me know that you stopped by and what you think...

Dictionary Flowers
Here is my card for today's FS challenge... I was stalking Loll's gallery for quite some time yesterday and then I have to say I was extremely excited that she was the FS this week... I can't even begin to tell you how many of her cards I added to my favorites or how hard it was to pick one to CASE... I did end up choosing this card here:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=287186
I changes the colors, the flower type and the sentiment... I used the rose creation and carnation creation dies to create this flower and the paper is dictionary pages and DSP put together.. I sprayed with Shimmer Mist and dried for the curled look.I hope you enjoy what I have done for you today... Please let me know what you think..
Happy Stamping!!!
