OCC - Robin's Sketch Challenge

Woo Hoo!! It's Saturday!! It's OCC Day!! It's late (too late) or maybe I should say...Early!!!
I am up posting my card for this week's Our Creative Corner!! I have to admit, I have a SAS blog hop HANGOVER!!! I was up way too late and now up way too early!!! I should have had my submission for this week's challenge done days ago, but those who know me, KNOW that that ain't how I roll!!! My name is Lori and I AM A PROCRASTINATOR!!!! Yep, there ya go, I admit it!!! I understand that my work may suffer because of it and yes I did throw this card together, but hopefully you will all like it regardless of my faults!!!!

I know I could have just kept on sleeping, made and posted my card later today, but my friend Robin is our May Hostess and I insist on supporting her and her SKETCH Challenge, so here is the Sketch Robin designed and below that is my card!!

OCC - For Mommy

Saturday is here again and Our Creative Corner is the place to be!!
This week's challenge is to make a card For Mom (or Mommy as I say and hear) and brought to us by our May Hostess, Robin Willis!!

OCC Challenge - Reuse It!!

Hey Everyone!! This week on the OCC we are to Reuse!!
My card might be kinda funny, but I had fun putting it together!!
You'd be surprised at what there is that can be Reused!!!

What did I reuse you ask....
1. The white stripes are strips of old snail adhesive tape paper
2. I torn the gingham strip of ribbon off of something awhile back
3. The puffy feathery reddish thing is a pom pom thingy that feel loose from one of Ella's house shoes (shhh! I stuck it on with chewing gum) Nah! I thought about it but I didn't
4. The big pink circle is a cute price tag from one of my undergarments
5. The pink card base was a base of another card, I just torn it apart and reused it!!

OCC - Easter

OCC - Color Challenge

This week at the OCC, we have a Color Challenge for you.
The colors are: More Mustard, Bashful Blue and Not Quite Navy.
You can use any designer papers that you would like and if you don't have Stampin' Up! card stock then feel free to substitute for colors that are similar.
We can't wait to see what you come up with!

OCC - Limited Supply Challenge

It's OCC Challenge time!!

Our Challenge Hostess this week is Kim Teasdale, the challenge she has created for
all of us is... Limited Supply Challenge!! Now this really was a challenge!
Here are the rules: You may use any paper including designer papers but are only able to use a maximum of 3 layers (including your stamped image), 1 type of embellishment (buttons or brads or ribbon, etc), any stamps that you like and sentiments are optional.

OCC - Add a Doodle

Hello Everyone!!
Hope you all had a wonderful week and that you are ready for some fun this week at the
OCC Challenge Blog.

The Challenge this week is to Add a Doodle to your card/project!!
Something in your own hand... it could be writing a word or adding some hand drawn stitches, anything just have a blast!!
When you hop over to the OCC you will notice we have a few new faces, we have some new additions to the Design Team~ Robin Willis, Frances Byren, Jenny Gropp, Loretta Lock and Vicki Garrett!! Welcome Girls!! We are so excited for you to join us!! I have to say that already in just the few short days we have been working together is has been so fun and feels so right!! I can already tell that this is gonna be one fine Design Team!! Woo Hoo...Go OCC!!

I was torn about putting my hand drawn image on my card, if you have been reading my blog for awhile, then you know that it is a dream of mine to one day create my own stamp line. I have a great desire for this, but I only want it IF it is God's Will for me and my family and only when He says the time is right, so until then I will continue to doodle and dream. I was actually a little scared to put my images out there as for when I do I know that I am allowing others to view them and possibly steal the idea and part of or all the image that I have designed. I decided to go ahead and place my hand drawn image on my blog as well as the OCC Blog, because my images are copyrighted and I trust that what is meant to be will be!!
Therefore, without further ado...my card and image!! Tah-dah!!!
