Hello bloggers, it's almost the weekend and I hope that you have had a good week.  Today I have a sweet water coloured rabbit to share.

This card began as an off cut of green card stock that I scored to make a 4.25 x 6.75 card blank.  Next I used some gold holographic mirror board to make a mat for the front of the card.  This was adhered in place.  Next onto some white card stock I stamped the topper image using pumice stone distress ink and a rabbit stamp from HMK Cards.  The rabbit was coloured using a water brush and the following distress inks, evergreen bough, tattered roae, pumice stome and aged mahaogany.  It was then die cut using Spellbinders 'label D' die set.  Whilst still in the die I inked around the edges with some cut n dry foam and pumice stone distress ink.

The sentiment was stamped onto white card stock using evergreen bough distress ink and  the same stamp set as above.  It was stamped using the second generation stamping technique.  Once stamped it was die cut using Spellbinders 'labels 33' die set.  The topper and sentiment were
adhered to the card blank.

I then added adhesive to the handmade paper but only in the areas that the topper and sentiment were so that the adhesive didn't show through the handmade paper.  Next using some red handmade paper I die cut two hearts using Marianne Creatables 'hearts' die set.  Once die cut they were adhered to the top of the card.  Finally I coloured the hearts on the topper with a red ProMarker to give the topper a little colour and to tie in with the red die cut hearts.  My original idea was to colour the topper but i then decided it didn't need it.
