Sweet Penguins

Hi,

Kathy here with a couple of Christmas cards I made using the adorable set by CC Designs called Sweet Penguins.  There are 3 individual penguin stamps in the set and for my first card I decided to make a tower with them :)  I also added a CC Designs Cutters die called Lolli and I cut the Merry Christmas sentiment from a stamp in the Whimsy set called Holiday Sliders 3.  It does look a little like he might be sitting on a block of ice :)  The paper is from a pad by KaiserCraft called Sweet Pea and I have also used some light pink raffia lace.

Well I was having so much fun with these cute penguins that I decided to make another card.  This time I just used the one penguin with a cute sentiment stamp by High Hopes called Penguin Greeting. I also used the beautiful La La Land Ornate Snowflakes die and added clear acrylic flat gems to their centres. The gorgeous background paper is from an Authentique pad called Joyous and I also added rock candy stickles to the edge of the snow bank.

These little penguins are so fun and you can make a card so quickly and easily with them.  I reckon they'd make great Birthday cards too with a "You're Cool", "Hope you have Cool Birthday" or "Hope you're birthday's sweet" sentiment. They are on sale at the moment along with a heap of other goodies in the Christmas Shop at 25% off.  You could buy yourself a great Christmas present or be well prepared for next year ;)

I hope you have a very happy Christmas :)

Bluebell With Saddle

Morning everyone Becky here, hope you are all well and the weather is treating you kindly, I live on the North East coast of England and we've had a bit of flooding due to an extremely high tide, been a bit scary I can tell you.

Today I have a card made with the super cute Bluebell with Saddle from Wild Rose Studio.

I have used distress markers to colour them in, and added loads of sparkle with stardust stickles. The papers are from the 6x6 paper pad Tradition by Authentique.

I have made a bow using some Ivory Organza, this holds fabulous bows as there is wire in it. There is also a clear diamond heart pin, a snowflake charm, a Kaisercraft Pearl Flourish and a Kaisercraft coconut bloom.

Thanks for looking, and enjoy your weekend,

Hugs,

Becky xx

Hi :)  It's Kathy here with a Christmas card I've made using a CC Designs image called Peace On Earth
I think she's absolutely adorable!!!

I coloured her with my copics and added some star dust stickles to her wings and halo.  I also used the gorgeous Authentique Joyous papers again (I really love this paper pad!)  All the papers on here are from this pad, even the Merry Christmas sentiment is cut out from one of the sheets!  I distressed all the edges with walnut stain distress ink and added some black flat backed pearls too.

Thanks so much for dropping by today to take a look.

Snowy

Hi,  Kathy here with a card I made using a very cute snowman stamp from High Hopes called Snowy Tag .

I decided to colour him and cut him out to use as a tag (you need to imagine him on a beautifully wrapped present, as I have some cards done but I don't have any presents organised yet!) :)
You could use him as a cute bookmark too!
Then I just used his head on the card.

I used the gorgeous Joyous papers by authentique again.  The black has lots of Christmas sentiments in different languages and the red is a fun Christmas find-a-word  (the scroll at the bottom is on the paper, it is not part of my watermark :)

My daughter has a male teacher this year and I thought she might like to give this card to him so I resisted the urge to put stickles on the snowman or letters in case it made it too "pretty".  I did use some of the black flat backed pearls as accents though.

This stamp is actually very versatile.  It makes a great tag of course but there are lots of other ways it can be used with the top portion of the image. Plus .... he's lots of fun to colour.

Thanks for dropping by to take a look :)
