Romain Perrot / Gerritt Wittmer / Francisco Meirino - Absence of Song tape

This is a live collaboration between Vomir, Gerritt and Meirino recorded live at the End of Tymes Festival in Brooklyn in 2013. It's based on harsh, piercing but somewhat melancholic feedback and one of the three guys talking, while the second side features a studio engineered and reversed version of the same recording which is more subdued and ambient. 2014 tape on Geräuschmanufaktur.

Stephen Cornford ‎– Pinched Tapes #1 tape

This is a tape originally released in a very limited run by Cornford and was re-released by Geräuschmanufaktur in 2017. The music samples has been taken from a tape of John Cage's String Quartets and an audiobook of Jack and the Beanstalk which were then handlooped and played on tape recorders. So this is just a 10-second loop of a violin section by Cage with a woman saying "when the music stops please turn the cassette over." For some people this will be tedious and idiotic, but for me this repetition creates an intense melancholic feeling which is beyond any descriptions.

Pietro Riparbelli ‎– SORTIE tape

Immensely engaging soundscapes comprising of processed field recordings from Nanterre, Paris. This would be ideal as the soundtrack for a short film and it captures an urban atmosphere very successfully. 2014 tape on the great Geräuschmanufaktur.

Dead Body Collection & J.Adolphe ‎– Deep Into The Halls tape

Amazing droning/ambient harsh noise wall with textures, shifts, vocals and the unnerving voices of crows in the beginning by J. Adolphe (boss of Geräuschmanufaktur) and Dr. Alex, HNW master. Definitely one of the richest HNW releases of all time. 2014 tape on the top-notch Geräuschmanufaktur tape label.
