CSS Alumni Inspiration Blog Hop

What a fun photo with some yummy treats. I normally take the route of using colors from an inspiration photo, but this time I just went with the first set that popped in my head. I was actually inspired to make something more wintry than Christmas. I also wanted to make a card I could use as a RAK to someone who belongs to the RAK group over at StampTV.com. When I looked at the inspiration photo the stamp set that instantly came to my mind was Warm and Wonderful, Illustrated by Rupa Shevde. I also used the sketch from Gina's latest sketch challenge over at StampTV.com.

I decided to use the snowmen cookies as my Inspiration.  The cookies reminded me of the cute little snowmen in the set Winter Friends.  I like the colors blue, red and white together.  So I went with that color scheme and added a little Kraft in the mix because I just love that color. :o)  The sentiment is from the Warm and Wonderful set.  Here is the front of my card:

The weather is getting colder.  At least it is where I live.  We actually have snow falling right now.  I love snow, except for today.  My boyfriend is supposed to take me shopping for shelves and help me put together my island for my stamp room.  I really want it done today.  I am hoping the weatherman is right and we won't get an accumulation on the roads.  I guess we'll see.

So to combat the colder weather, here is a cuppa' hot cocoa.  Yum!

I used the stamp set Warm and Wonderful from Gina K Designs.  I added lots of snowflakes with the paper and the embossing.  The red card stock is also from Gina K Designs.  It's Rocket Red.  I love this color combination.  Especially for winter cards.

Now I need to go have a cuppa hot coffee.  Maybe I'll add some chocolate. ;o)
