Altered Mailbox - Marci with Bunny

Hi everyone and welcome to another La La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday! This week's challenge is "The Great Outdoors" and I have a fun project to share with you all! ❤

This altered mailbox was created using one of the small metal mailboxes you can find every year around Valentine's in the dollar section at your local Target store. I colored up cute little Marci with Bunny using my Copic markers and accented her with pink Stickles. Her dress and headband are paper pieced and I gave the little bunny some sparkle using some iridescent glitter. Marci is sitting on top of a tree stump from the Stump Set, also colored up with my Copic markers.

The paper collection is called "Pretty in Pink" by Glitz Designs. The flowers are from I Am Roses. The lace is Prima, and pink ruffle trim from My Favorite Things. The grass was cut using MFT's Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics.

Here are some pics...

Copic Markers:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E74, E77, E79
Stump: E42, E43, E44, E47
Mushroom: E53, E55, E57
Grass: YG61, YG63

MFT Teaser Day 4!

Hello there scrappy bloggers and welcome to day 4 of 5 of MFT teasers! Boy have I been having a BLAST seeing all the wonderful creations the MFT design team has been sharing these past few days, what about you?! I'm sure your shopping list is as long as the next person's because this release is just HOT! :-)

Today, the design team is sharing projects using 2 new stamp sets which include Inspired by Summer and Perfect Pinwheel Die-Namics and stamp set. I'll be sharing a project using the Perfect Pinwheel!

Of course, another circle card! I've been on a circle card kick for a few weeks now and I can't stop making them. LOL! I used more Basic Grey Nook and Pantry paper from my stash on this card, as well as an array of MFT Die-namics including the new Pinwheel, Dizzy Doily Duo, Solid Bracket Border and First Award Ribbon. I added some tulle, tied it into a bow and added some Recollections and Crystazzi bling to jazz it up a bit.

Inside, I added the larger of the two Dizzy Doilies from the Duo set, the large label die from the You Move Me Die-Namics set and the sentiment from the Perfect Pinwheel stamp set is stamped onto a Framed Greetings die. More Recollections bling tops it off for today!

La-La Land Crafts: Inspiration Monday!

Hi everyone! I'm here again today for La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday. I've been having a BLAST playing along with the LLLC design team this month and am super excited to have another full month in July to create with Irina's uber talented designers.

This Monday's challenge is to create a circle card! I decided to color up Ballerina Marci. Believe it or not, I have never colored her up before. I had so much fun coloring her with my Copic markers... I just ADORE her!

First, here are some pics...

Color Medium: Copic markers & At You Spica Glitter Pen

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Eyes: BG01
Lips: R20
Hair: C3, C5, C7, C9
Hair tie: R000, YR00, G24, Peach At You Spica Glitter Pen
Dress/Shoes: R000, YR00, Peach At You Spica Glitter Pen

I used Graphic 45's Once Upon A Springtime papers and lots of I Am Roses flowers to embellish around Ballerina Marci. I cut the circle card using my Spellbinders Circle and Scallop Circle Grande Nestabilities. Do you spy glitter on the trim of Marci's skirt and on the large white rose? I love the Martha Stewart extra fine glitter -- adds the perfect touch of shine to any project. The tear drop pearls are from my friend Karla's Etsy and the butterflies are punched out using Martha Stewart butterfly punches. I fussy cut a fairy from the paper collection and have her blowing kisses at Marci... love it! hehe!

Be sure to check out the La-La Land Craft blog to see what the other Team Monday designers have to share with you. We also encourage you to play along and post your card(s) over at the LLLC Customer Gallery! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

hugs!
