hello

Sharing a card that I made for this weeks challenge over at Simply Less is More.
The challenge is to use masking or stencils on your card.

I used my Memory Box stencil along with some Molding paste and hero arts ink. I also used some vellum leaves from my stash and a butterfly by SEI.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me. ~ hugs Sherry ~

hb2u

I am on a roll today and just cranking out some cards and catching up on a few of my favorite TV shows.

I have all my newest purchases here on my desk and am trying to use a little of each before I file them in their proper places.

For this card I once again used papers by My Minds Eye from the Miss Caroline collection called "dilly dally".  The buttons are also My Minds Eye from the Follow Your Heart collection and the alpha is Tim Holtz.

I just love the color combinations in this paper collection. Grey, teal and yellow (swoon).

I used this weeks sketch over at Technique Stamper for the inspiration on my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, your comments are always appreciated.

just because ~ you are awesome!

It is Saturday and I am working at Anchor Paper on University today and then I am off to spend the night with Micah and Cassie while their Mom takes Dad out for his 30th birthday celebration.

I have a couple cards to share with you before I leave. This first one is for the challenge at Clean and Simple Stamping.

This is the sketch that inspired it.

This card was inspired by this weeks challenge over at LimeLight Paper Crafts and the request that we include butterflies on our card.

Do you have any special plans for this weekend?
Enjoy!

hello ~ hi ~ thanks (Warning Long Post)

Today was a lazy day for me and I spent it playing in my craftroom with some new digital stamps.

This card is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and I used my new Lori Boyd "lollipop" digital image. Isn't she just too cute. I paired her up with "DeLovely" by Cosmo Cricket and colored her with my Tombow markers.

My next card is for the challenge over at Sketch Girl and I used another new Digital image that I bought from Soft Pencil digital images. Once again I used the Cosmo Cricket "DeLovely" papers and I colored with my Tombows.

My last card is for this weeks challenge over at Clean and Simple Stamping and I used Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety" and the flower is made using the Tim Holtz new flower die. I fussy cut the leaves.

Now I need to get busy and work on a couple of 60th birthday cards that an old friend asked me to make for her sister. They are vintage photo cards which I love making.

Enjoy!

Day 359 - Gloria's Signature Style

The challenge today over at 365 Cards was to create a card using the style of one of the DT members. Today's card was all about Gloria.

This was the perfect challenge as I happen to have the same exact papers from the new Graphic 45 8x8 paper pad called 'a proper gentleman'.

Here is Gloria's card that we were to be inspired by and then we were to cardlift some part of her card.

And here is my card

I added a Tim Holtz ticket and some PTI buttons to my card. Thanks Gloria for letting me lift a little bit of your card to mine.
