I received an email from Dana today letting me know that my flap card that I originally made for  Project Tuesday and then entered in the Tuesday Throwdown challenge was picked as one of the Top 3 cards this week.

Seize the CupCake ~ FTL70

This is the card for the Clean & Simple Stamping Challenge this week.  Such an easy sketch with one of my favorite things CupCakes.

For this card I used BasicGrey "nook & pantry" papers and chipboard. The ribbon is May Arts, and the sentiment is Hero Arts.

Flowers in Bloom

Today I decided to walk around the yard and see which of my flowers were in bloom this week. I had a few that had just opened up and then a few like the bleeding heart which were almost through their blooming cycle. The Lilac's and Lily of the Valley's had reached the end early last week. I love how those two smell when they bloom it is amazing. I came home from a friends last week and my husband had brought me in a large vase filled with Lilacs. He has done this for me every year for a quite a number of years.

Feels Like Springtime In Minnesota

I know it isn't SPRING yet, but it is sure starting to feel like it around here. It is already 45 degrees out and we are headed into the 50's today and 60's by Monday. All that nasty snow we got last week should be gone by Tuesday. Makes me want to go outside and work in the yard (not). That will have to wait a little longer.

Today I finished up my sister TerryLee's birthday card and will get that in the mail to her on Monday and then I need to finish up my card kits for Card Club tomorrow at Anchor Paper Express. Have a great day and I will be back soon.
