hump day

It is hump day and I have a couple layouts to share of you of my two great-nephews Adrian and Ryder.

Look I actually used something other than a white base for my layout. *grin*

I used papers and embellishments from the Authentique "glory" collection. These will be perfect for 4th of the July photos as well.

This next picture is of Ryder at the beach yesterday. Isn't he just adorable? I used papers from the Echo Park "sunshine" collection.

Thanks for stopping by to look.

friends

Back again with another layout that I did this weekend.

This one is for the newest sketch challenge over at Creative Scrappers

Notice that real polaroid photo that I used. It was taken in the early 90's and I am the tan girl in the back with the crazy curly hair. The photo is of me and my online friends that finally got a chance to meet after talking on the computer for a couple years.

I used papers and embellishments from the 9 to 5 collection by October Afternoon along with my watercolors. I am totally loving splattering on my pages and can't seem to do a page without them.

Here is the great sketch that I used as my inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. I appreciate those of you who left sweet comments on my post yesterday.

be back soon

While I am enjoying my blog break I will hopefully be back soon. I have fallen in love with scrapbooking again and have been spending all my time doing that lately.

I signed up for an online class and our first challenge was to use leftover papers that had been previously punched out and used on something else.

This is the layout I created and I used a piece of paper that I had punched stars out on and then in that same pile of scraps I found the reverse image of a heart, which I think just goes perfect with this layout.

Hoping to be back June 1st with lots of scrapbooking layouts in my future and maybe a card once in awhile.

Thanks for waiting for me to get over this little slump that life hands people.

ACE aka Adrian Charles Eckblad

As I said earlier I have been busy scrapbooking like a maniac and here are a couple of the layouts that I created.

All of these layouts will be heading to Texas along with quite a few others.

As you can see by each layout I am totally loving splattering paint onto the pages.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

joy

I'm back! Did you miss me or didn't you even realize I was gone? I have been busy scrapbooking and have completed about 15 layouts so far this week.

I have a card to share with you today that I created for this weeks Merry Monday challenge.

I used papers and stickers by Fancy Pants along with a Spellbinders die and alpha stickers by October Afternoon and Jillibean

Here is the sketch that inspired my card.

Thanks for stopping by and as always I appreciate those of you that leave your comments. So I am thinking of shutting down my blog here, what are your thoughts? Will you miss me? Do you even really care?
