December Daily 2014 Day One - Day Twelve

For those of you that do a December Daily I thought I would share my album with you. I will break it up into a couple of post as it is photo heavy.

This year I used a WRMK gold instagram album with two different style pockets which were 4x4 in size. All pictures of my pages were taken with my iPhone so not as great as I wish they were but wanted to do a quick post.

I didn't use any kits for my album I just used product  I had in my stash. I have enough to do another 10 albums.

Intro Page

Day One

Day Two
We ended up with no snow on the ground Christmas Day and temps in the 30's which is unusual for us here in Minnesota.

Day Three
I included a small sequin pocket between the two layouts.

The other side under the sequin pocket.

Day Four

Day Five
Another pocket with lots of little goodies inside.

Day Six
Cookie day and also shows the back side of the pocket insert.

Day Seven

Day Eight
This page is opposite Day 7

In-between Day 7-8
Confetti pocket

Day Nine
I was out delivering cards for the Caring Hearts Project

Day Ten
Haircuts and a sequin pocket

Day Eleven
Hermey our Elf makes his first appearance

Day Twelve
Being Silly with my son using a phone app called "Santify"
This also has a 2.5" x 4" star insert

Day Twelve cont.
I created this glitter cut out using my silhouette
I didn't photograph it but I ended up putting a piece of antique music paper behind the word Christmas.

Okay, I will do another post tomorrow showing the rest of my December Daily.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.

Feeling Frosty

Time for a new challenge over on the Art Impressions blog today! "Feeling Frosty"  so we
want to see snowflakes, flocking and/or chunky embossing on your cards.

You know when you visualize a card and somehow when it is finished it isnt what you imagined?

Meet today's card. I used the Caroling Polars (Sku#4080) that I fussy cut out and popped up with foam tape on top of my shaker window.

For some reason when I was creating my card I thought the snowflakes and sequins on top of the snowflake background would show a little more and allow the the stuff inside my shaker card to "POP" a little more.

Oh well you get the general idea of what I was trying to achieve.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy stamping!

PoppyStamps & Memory Box Blog Hop

Memory Box and PoppyStamps are having a joint blog hop starting today December 2nd and running through December 4th.

You should have arrived here from Mary's blog and if you didn't you may want to start at the beginning of the hop so you don't miss out on a chance to win a prize or two.

The theme of our hop is Holiday Gift Tags or Wrappers!
Here is a look at my completed tag and treat bag for the hop.

Normally this treat bag would hold a couple of holiday cookies that I share with the neighbors. But I haven't started my baking yet so added some twix candy bars instead.

For my tag I cut out several of the Vintage Happy Holidays and Leaping Deer and glued them together to get a chipboard look to them. I used the Stars stencil to add a little bit of dimension to my tag as well. A sequin added to the nose of the deer and it was done.

Here is a close up of my tag.

Here is the complete list of today's hop participants.

Your next stop on this hop is Sue's blog.

Thanks for stopping by during the hop. You have until December 10th to leave a comment on all the blog hop participants post. Winners will be announced on December 15th on both the Memory Box and PoppyStamps blogs.

Poppystamps Challenge #3 ~ Sparkle & Shine

I am so excited today since it is the first of the month it is time for a new challenge over on the Poppystamps blog.

Our challenge runs for a full month and this month we want to see Sparkle & Shine on your cards.

Here is my card. Hope it Sparkles and Shines enough for the challenge.

For my card I used the Mod Snowflake Background die and embossed it into my card front. Next I die cut the Blooming Poinsettia and Vintage happy Holidays using some gold glittery foam. The picture doesn't do the glitter justice as this card really is super shiny.

Now head over to the Poppystamps blog and check out what the rest of the design team created for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today it really means a lot to me.
