This is the part of the stream of essential Traffic performances 1967-1974.
This recording was made while the band was taping shows for their soon-to-be-released On The Road double CD. For the tours and records made around this time ('72-'74), Traffic was augmented by three members of the legendary Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, a group that had provided backing on some of the greatest rock and R&B hits of the 1960s and '70s, including many classic Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield records. This same month, Traffic released Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory, which went gold and reached the American Top 10.
By adding David Hood on bass, Roger Hawkins on drums and Barry Beckett on keyboards, the group's core members -Winwood, percussionist/vocalist Jim Capaldi and sax player/flutist Chris Wood - found an enormous amount of freedom to play their respective instruments. Many Traffic classics are here, including "Empty Pages," "Evening Blue," "Forty Thousand Headman," "Glad" and "Freedom Rider," but there is still enough room for several, then-new tracks to be featured, including "Shoot Out At The Fantasy Factory," "Rock and Roll Stew," "Roll Right Stones," "(Sometimes I Feel So) Uninspired" and "Light Up Or Leave Me Alone."
For fans of Traffic, Winwood, or classic rock in general, it doesn't get much better than this.

A perfect soundboard recording from the Eagles 1994 Hell
Freezes Over tour. I believe this to be a soundobard instead
of an FM broadcast because as far as I know they never did
any FM broadcasts from this tour other than the MTV special.
One of the more popular recordings from their 1994 tour, I
haven't seen this on DIME yet so I thought I'd share it.
Couple of things to note: first, on disc 1 the last track has
both "Lyin' Eyes" and "One Of These Nights" on it. No idea why
these were not plit up, but this is how I got it. These are
original silver CD's BTW, NOT CD-R's. Second, you may be able to
fit these onto 2 discs - again this is how I got it, on 3 discs
and so I've never changed it. Third, there is artwork out there.
I can't upload it but this is a very popular CD so I'm sure a
little searching on the internet and you can find something.
This was the set list through-out most of the 1994 and 1995 tour.
Not too bad - my only complaint was that they played too many of
their solo hits during the second act. I mean, we were there to see
the Eagles! They had so many songs - "James Dean", "The Last Resort",
"Ol' 55", "Saturday Night", the list goes on and on. Otherwise, this is
a fantastic recording, it basically speaks for itself, so please rate
and ENJOY!!!

STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN – Happy New Year Blues - LIVE BROADCAST FROM ATLANTA, GEORGIA 12/31/1986
Stevie Ray Vaughan – Happy New Year Blues (2016)
LIVE BROADCAST FROM ATLANTA, GEORGIA 31/12/1986 FEATURING LONNIE MACK By late 1986, Stevie Ray Vaughan had been through rehab in London and, according to all reports, was feeling like a new man. His dependency problems, which had haunted him right through his career, were he felt, now behind him and he was intent on two things; getting back to playing the blues and helping others overcome their own, similar problems. He achieved the former with ease and passion – this was, after all, what the master guitarist existed to do. The latter did not come so naturally, but SRV made commendable effort in his oft-witnessed stage announcements, advising and guiding his audience members, sharing the wisdom he had garnered in going through the hell he had suffered. The concert featured on this CD is taken from an FM radio broadcast, transmitted live from the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, on New Year s Eve 86, was clearly a dynamic event. Stevie and Double Trouble perform with gusto and flare, whilst the audience are wild with ecstasy. Joining Vaughan on stage after the new year kicks in is none other than guitar legend Lonnie Mack, and the two bluesmen bounce off each other beautifully for a magical rendition of Mack s Oreo Cookie Blues, which ends this extraordinary performance and readies Stevie Ray to enter what, tragically, would become the final, albeit majestic, era of his career – and sadly his life.
