------
notes:
* Mixed with another show to fill missing part
Many pops/clicks removed one by one, mixed missing parts with another soundboard shows from 1980, boosted audio levels on some quiet parts and so on. You'll hear the difference.
+many other improvements I never list
"Yellow Rose Of Texas" is originally just an intro to "Cadillac Ranch", that's the reason it fades out to "Fade Away".
------
"One of only four (circulating) complete soundboard shows from the entire River tour.
This show includes several highlights from early in the tour, especially opening with Born to Run, as well as rare performances of "Jackson Cage" and "No Money Down" as an intro to "Cadillac Ranch."
Another "highlight" may be the trio of "Stolen Car," "Wreck on the Highway," and "Point Blank."" -theboots.net
"Definitive performance of Drive All Night." -brucebase http://www.fileserve.com/file/Tb5HgBF

Recording Notes:
Source for Discs 1 and 2, except where noted, was a reel to reel recording at 3 3/4 ips.
Transfer Path: Reel > Sony DTC-790 DAT (44.1 khz) > Hoontech Digital Soundcard > PC > WAV
CDWave software used to record the WAV file and cut into song segments.
No attempt was made to enhance the limited stereo soundstage, or to remove clicks/pops/hum
present in the original broadcast. These artifacts were part of the broadcast itself, and were not
related to reception.
Pasting of missing segment plus limited EQ to boost low end applied to all tracks by Cool Edit Pro software.
Track 203: Edit from another source (mono) used to replace missing segment due to reel flip
from 2:43 - 4:02
Tracks 301-302 Bottom Line Soundboards, 7/14/1975
Tracks 303-304 Bottom Line 1975 Soundboards
Tracks 306-309 Bottom Line 8/15/75 from WNEW rebroadcast 7/3/1988,
recorded on a Dolby C cassette deck - these are much better quality
than those used during the main show.
Personal Notes:
Truly a labor of love...
August 15, 1975 - High Temp in NYC 85, Low 65, Wind 10mph avg, gusts to 15mph. No precipitation.
A breezy midsummer night in NYC, where all the heat was concentrated on the
corner of West 4th and Mercer in Greenwich Village, NY.
Lots of Springsteen fans (me included) couldn't get into the Bottom Line - it usually seats 400, but there was
a larger than usual number of music industry seats reserved for these 10 shows (two shows each night
August 13-17.)
WNEW-FM broadcast the early show Friday night.
I've been searching for a complete copy of this broadcast since that night, when
the mono reel to reel tapes I made had many missing pieces due to lots of different reasons.
All of the bootlegs released by the profiteers were incomplete in some way, minor or major.
Finally, in March 2004, nearly 29 years later. I found it. It is not the final word on
this show in terms of sound quality, but it is the COMPLETE broadcast, without anything missing.
Turn it on and listen to it just like you would have back in August 1975. All the station
breaks and DJ chat and such are there.
Thanks to the many people involved in this project, from the tape source, to those
who let me borrow reel to reel decks to get the dub to DAT, to others who gave advice on
mastering procedures or supplied alternate sources. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - LIVE TO RUN
Bruce Springsteen
and the E Street Band
December 31, 1975
Tower Theatre
Philadelphia (Upper Darby), PA
Uber Series: Vol 33
Generous/Mysterious Uber --> CDR --> EAC --> FLAC Frontend
At first blush, this tape might seem a bit ho hum as a complete
soundboard recording of the 12/31/75 show has been in circulation
for years (as are other nights from the same stand). But make no
mistake, you have never heard this before.
The previously circulating soundboard (generally attributed to be
sourced from the late, great Ed Sciaky) was recorded live to
two-track, likely on cassette or perhaps reel, and it sounds a lot
like other '75 board sources. But it turns out a multi-track
recording was also made on 12/31/75, and in early 1976 those
multi-tracks were mixed down to stereo for consideration of a live
album that never happened.
These nine songs are taken directly from the 1976 production reels
of those mixes and offer what is arguably the finest live recording
of the era. Undoubtedly, the official Hammersmith release sounds
great, but it was mixed in 2005, not 1976. If you thought
Springsteen was in your living room on the WGOE session, the entire
E Street Band is there this time.
Track Listing
1. Night
2. 10th Avenue Freezeout (slow)
3. Spirit in the Night
4. Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?
5. It's My Life
6. Pretty Flamingo
7. It's Hard to be a Saint in the City
8. Mountain of Love
9. Jungleland
It's pretty much safe to say that had any of those songs, apart from Spirit and
Saint, made the Live 75-85 set, said live set would have been that much better.

THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND - TAMPA '70
Allman Brothers Band
Tampa 1970
This show was played without Gregg Allman.Duane takes the vocals part, too, and on keyboards we have Reese Wynans.
I couldn`t find any more information about the show anywhere...
Too bad, that we only have this partial show...
"What happened was that Gregg was coming back from L.A. where he had to finish some
work for the record company that he was obliged to finish; this was after the HourGlass
had broken up (Duane was fed up with the costumes they had to wear and the music they
were forced to record); he had gone ahead as a studio musician and was doing very well.
He had already met Butch and Jaimoe and Dickey. Not too much before this show, they
had done the Legendary 5-hour Jam where Duane stood in the doorway and dared anyone who didn't want to play in his band to leave. Reese Wyans had other commitments and couldn't
continue on with the band--which is why Duane said that only one person was right to sing
for them--and that was Gregg--hence, the phone call to "Little brother to get your ass out here now."by MDLOP8
