Comments: This is a soundboard recording of a rehearsal in a small London studio with The Bleeding Heart Band. It is an absolutely clean studio take complete with chatter between and during tracks. This is not the final, full-up rehearsal with all of the artists that appeared in Berlin.

The story: Someone who worked in the post-production studio made a copy of the master tape, or plugged his recorder into the soundboard. He then took a studio stock pre-printed cassette cover and typed the title and date of the rehearsal on it.

This is a rehearsal with the Bleeding Hearts Band that Waters did before the "All Star" performance of "The Wall" in Berlin, in 1990. It's a great listen.

Digitally remastered and expanded 2CD 20th Anniversary edition of Roger Water’s seminal live concert of The Wall recorded in Berlin includes bonus features not available in previous versions. On 21st July 1990 an all stars band, featuring the likes of Waters himself, Bryan Adams, Thomas Dolby, Jerry Hall, Cyndi Lauper, Ute Lemper, Jony Mitchell, Scorpions, Van Morrison and Sinead O’Connor amongst others reunited between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate to perform the iconic album. Together with the 250,000 attendees and the audience back home, they sent the message of no more walls and no more wars. Unfortunately, as we know, the message was soon forgotten. Nevertheless, the atmosphere of the day, the concerns, hope, fear…
…for the unknown of both the audience and the performers does not fail to impress and hit the viewer, prompting for some serious afterthought on the world that we all created.
