I made Amy J. a cake for her birthday. I think it turned out cute. Isn't it fun?

Kyler's #7

Today my Kyler is 7 years old! We celebrated over the weekend with cousins. We enjoyed bowling and playing. Kyler chose donuts for his birthday dessert (again), but when it came time to make a wish, he needed a little more time to decide. He is loving his new helicopter and legos. Kyler is my easy going, super smart guy that is so fun to be around. Even though we already did most of our celebrating, I hope he has a great birthday today.

In other news, meet the newest nephew and niece. They were both blessed yesterday. What cuties!

I can feel it...

Spring is in the air, and I love it. This week I have jogged outside and the kids have been on their bikes and swings. The other day the kids even asked to do their reading outside in the sun. Good idea.

Made by Kyler

After Stake Conference today (yes, I survived!) Brian was teasing Kyler by telling him it was his turn to make lunch. So, after getting changed we head downstairs to find Kyler working with some bread. We ask what he's doing and he says "making grilled cheese." But, Kyler has 4 pieces of bread. Soon we realize that Kyler is making grilled cheese for mom and dad, thanks to dad telling him it was his turn to make lunch. :) Kyler does love to make grilled cheese thanks to his dad who taught him how. My grilled ham and cheese today was delicious! He's going to be a great cook, just like his dad.>This is Kyler's cute face after enjoying some of dad's crepes with chocolate pudding. Yum!

Let me explain....

Yesterday we did more allergy testing on Brian and Kyler. It was miserable. Although, I am very excited to start treatment so that allergies will not be the pain that they have been in our lives. These pictures only give you a glimpse of the testing. The welts actually got a lot bigger. The doctor said that he has not see a reaction as big as Kyler had on any other kid before. Yep, we're allergic. That biggest welt (lower right) on Kyler's back is horses. Sorry Dad!

Ready for Spring

Tyson and I are ready for spring. When I asked him if he wanted to ride his bike today, he got so excited. He was all grins for the trip around the block. We can't wait for it to get even warmer.

Kaylee's Doctor Report

I'm so mad at myself for listening to that doctor on call that didn't want to treat an ear infection on a Sunday. It looks like that untreated ear infection is most likely to blame for the infection in her foot (according to a better doctor we saw today.) Luckily, we are seeing improvement. The swelling is going down, the pain is less. But, she still won't walk on it. It will just take a little more time, hopefully. Who knew an ear infection could cause such a problem? We do now. We've learned a big lesson. We won't have this problem again.

Doesn't this look fun?

It's been a crazy week. Crazier than usual. Kaylee started the week off with an ear infection. I spoke with the Doctor on call and he said that she was old enough to fight it on her own. So, we continue with the Tylenol and rest. She stops complaining enough that I send her to school on Tuesday and Wednesday. When she gets out of bed Thursday morning, she can't walk. She can't put any weight on her right foot due to pain. She didn't trip, fall, nothing that we can think of. Thursday and Friday are full of crying, fevers, whining, and hopping. Thursday night we finally start to see a red bump on the side of her foot. So, this morning (after no improvement) we decide to take her to the insta-care. The doctor says that her ear is still infected and is very concerned about her foot. He takes x-rays, nothing there. He splints and wraps it up. Tells us to call an Orthopaedics Dr. on Monday. Nice. She started the medication for her ear and I'm hoping it will magically heal the foot too. It's all a big mystery. Any one have any other guesses what the problem could be? In the mean time, we are home-bound.

Trip Report

We are back from a fun trip to CA. We had lots of fun, but wore out quickly. It's nice to be home, even though we came home with colds and an ear ache. Luckily, we are on the mend.

I love this picture! It turned out great.
One of the few pictures of all 5 of us.
Tyson hid from my camera most of our trip, so the best pictures I have of him are with the characters. Tyson met a lot of characters while dad took Kaylee and Kyler on bigger rides.
"C" for Cressall! We did convince Kaylee and Kyler to go on a few roller coasters and they were surprised when the liked them! They wanted to go again! It's fun to see them growing up.

We spent a few hours at the beach. It wasn't really warm, so when the wind picked up, we were done. That's all our fair skin can take anyway. :) Kyler loved playing in the sand, Kaylee loved finding shells, and Tyson loved chasing the birds! Fun for all.

11 months

We survived 11 months of braces! Today was the day we've been counting down to. Kaylee has been a trooper and hasn't hardly complained about them at all. I've been so surprised how fast Kaylee's teeth have moved into place. Now we get to enjoy a clear retainer for the next year or two or three. We'll see how it goes. Her teeth look amazing and I love her new smile.

My Baby

I think it's official. My baby is no longer a baby. He turned 3 today. Where has the time gone? I love the little boy that he is becoming. He is funny, smart, quick, a great dancer and singer, and has the best laugh you've ever heard. We love our Tyson! Happy Birthday to him.

New Year Fun

After a rather boring New Year's Eve, we did start the new year off with a fun family activity. Sledding. We all had some fun and got a few good pictures too. Here are just a few. This last picture shows what happens when I hand my camera over for Brian to take some pictures to prove I was there. No worries, I didn't take Tyson out. I have shed some tears from laughing so hard at this picture! Wouldn't you know Brian would take the best picture of the day.
