Madsen Peek

Last week I was able to have some fun with the Madsen's and snapped some pictures. Here's a few of my favorites. Thanks Jessica for asking me to take them.

Brian, the runner

It has been way too long since Brian's last race, so he finally got signed up for more. This time, it was a 10K in Provo. He's been running more lately, so I knew he could do this with no problem. It was fun to take the kids and see him running (during the race), then we met him down at the finish line. His official time was 47:52. Dang good! That is 7:43 a mile! Now we are looking forward to the 1/2 marathon at the end of August.

New Do

I was ready for a change, but didn't want to go short. This is what Emily came up with. A trip to her house is always fun! We took pictures to show off our cute headbands. I thought Kaylee did a great job snapping these for us. I'm training her young! I love the color. It is actually really close to the color on my bottom layer naturally. Change is good. Thanks Em!

Name that tune

Cabin Fun

Last weekend we were able to spend some fun time with Brian's side of the family. We went to grandma's cabin up Logan Canyon. The kids have a blast there! We enjoyed swinging, visiting, the candy sling shot, yummy food, and lots of mosquitos (not really.) I love the precious picture with Great Grandma and Grandpa. You can never get too many of those.
Look how little my kids were the last time we went to the cabin. It was too long ago! They are growing up fast.
