Emily and I have finally got a blog going to show you the fun new things we are making for Girly Accents. With Valentines right around the corner, we have been getting ready. A quick trip

We decided to take a quick trip to grandma's house for our day off of school. I took Cali and Addie with me and Emily came down with her kids to meet us there. We enjoyed seeing Cressalls for Grandma Cressall's birthday, movies, visiting, watching Cali get a haircut, and bows, headbands, and more bows. I love this picture Cali took, it sums it all up. Bows, ribbons, clips, headbands (on the right), and don't forget the treats. It's always fun when we get together and we look forward to doing it again soon.

Watch out...

We have a 2 year old on our hands. This is a before and after Tyson's "nap" picture. I say "nap" because he NEVER went to sleep!! This is only the beginning.... If only you could have seen the marker that he drew on himself and his toys and the chex mix all over the floor (this was all right after I gave up on the "nap".) It could be a long year....

Tyson's #2

Saturday, the 10th, was Tyson's second birthday!! Can you believe he is already two? We enjoyed having fun together as a family for the occasion. We rode the carousel, when to Build a Bear (where we didn't build bears, but dogs and Hello Kitty), went out for lunch, opened presents, and had cupcakes with ice cream. Tyson did get both candles blown out by himself, it only took about 10 blows! The funniest part was that Tyson didn't want anything to do with the cupcake once the candles were blown out, he just wanted the bowl of ice cream. I would like to think he got that (not wanting cake) from Grandpa Cottle. It was really fun to see Tyson have so much fun for his birthday.

Out to lunch

Thanks to an invite, we enjoyed lunch out today. I was a little worried about Tyson being good (the tantrums have hit us hard the last 3 days), but we managed better than I thought. Fun to do something different and with friends! We need to do this more often!

The Boy Room

After a lot of time and effort (and help from others), I'm ready to show you some pictures of the boy room! I still need some finishing touches - like curtains! I will get to that...eventually. I love love love how the stripes turned out. Luckily I had both of the quilts for the beds made well before Christmas. Glad I did that first. Kaylee's room is coming.... and looking so cute. (I'll be calling you again, Jessica!) Enjoy!
