Moikka ! Oon parhaillaan junassa matkalla kohti Jyväskylää, ja aattelin päivittää blogia jotta tää kolmen tunnin puuduttava paikoillaan istuminen menis nopeemmin.
Joulu tuli tänä vuonna jotenkin niin nopee, etten oo kerennyt vielä ees sisäistää sitä. Kaikki rahani tosin onnistuin kuluttamaan joululahjaostoksiin.

Yhden lahjan oon jo itsekin saanut, nää kengät nimittäin ! Sain Satulta haasteen käydä etsimässä itselleni lahjan, joten kiersin kaikki keskustan liikkeet läpi ja lopulta tärppäsi Spirit Storessa. Iskin silmäni näihin Jeffrey Campbellin kiilakorolla varustettuihin nilkkureihin, kokeilin jalkaan ja olin myyty.

Oon jo pidemmän aikaa etsinyt kenkiä jossa olis sellanen korko millä pysyis pystyssä lumihangessakin, koska ärsyttää kun talvisin joutuu aina käyttämään ihan matalia kenkiä. Korkoa näissä on n. 10cm ja platoa 3cm. Jalassa tuntuu kuin ei olis korkoa juuri ollenkaan !

Hi there ! I'm currently in a train, on my way to Jyväskylä to spend Christmas with my family. I decided to blog a little something so this awfully boring 3 hours in this train would pass by a bit faster.
Christmas came so soon this year and I have hard time trying to accept the fact that there's only 2 days to go before the eve. On the other hand tho, I've managed to spend all my money on Christmas presents.

I also got one present for myself already, which is these shoes ! I got a challenge from Satu to go find something for myself, so I checked nearly all the stores in the center and finally found these booties by Jeffrey Campbell from Spirit Store. I tried them on and it was instant love.

I've been looking foor a pair of shoes that have a heel but I could still wear them during winter, and these are perfect for that ! The heel is about 10cm and the platform 3cm, but they don't really feel like you're walking on heels when you wear them.

Mallin nimi on K-2 ja hintaa oli 159€ alennuksessa josta osan maksoin itse. Halusin kuitenkin jotain, mille mulla oli oikeesti tarvetta !

The model is called K-2 and they were 159€ on sale. I had to pay a part of the price by myself but I just wanted to get something I reaaally needed !

Uudet kengät in action ja kauhee ylipainava matkalaukku, ugh. Tuli muuten samalla testattua nää kengät kovassa käytössä, nimittäin eilen käytiin kattomassa Tavastialla Huoratronia näin maailman lopun kunniaksi !

Keikka oli ihan mieletön, kuten kaikki aiemmatkin kerrat mitä oon Huoratronia käynyt katsomassa. Keikan loppupuolella oltiin jotenkin ajauduttu eturiviin, jossa oli huomattavasti helpompi olla kuin keskellä missä ihmiset riehui ja kaatuili päälle. Parit juomatkin taisin saada niskaani :D Puhumattakaan siitä miten hyvin nähtiin lavalle, wuuhuu !

New boots in action and an awfully heavy suitcase, ugh. I also wore these shoes to Huoratron's gig yesterday when we celebrated the World's End !

The gig was amazing, as all Huoratron gigs I've seen. At the end of the gig, we found ourselves in the front row, where it was so much easier to breathe and nobody was stepping on your toes. Not to mention the view to the stage. The people partying in the middle of the venue were crazy. Falling on you and spilling their drinks hehe, so the front row was much better, woohoo !

Tällaiset popot kävin noutamassa postista viimeviikon tiistaina ! Nää on nyt siis ne, mitkä tilasin Black Friday aleista Solestruckilta. Malli on nimeltään Audrey Spike, miltäs muultakaan kuin Jeffrey Campbellilta.

 I got these shoes via mail on Tuesday last week ! And yes, these are the ones I ordered from Solestruck during Black Friday sales. The shoe is called Audrey Spike, by who else than Jeffrey Campbell.

I hope you're not totally bored with these shoe-related posts yet, because this isn't the last one yet... :D

Elikkäs tällasiin humputtelin mun rahat, eikä kyllä kaduta. Sen lisäks, että ne on järjettömän kauniit, ne on yllättävän mukavat jalassa ottaen huomioon että korkoa on 14cm ja platoa vajaat 4cm. Ton remmin kanssa pysyy jalassa kovemmassakin vauhdissa, mikä on hyvä, sillä mun lättäjaloilla on vaikee löytää avonaisia kenkiä jotka ei tippuis jalasta kävellessä.

Ja mikä parasta, alunperin näitten hinta oli $289,95, aleissa vain $97,97 ! Aika hyvä diili etten sanois.

Soo, this is what I spent my money for, and I don't regret it at all. Besides them being mindlessly beautiful, they're surprisingly comfy even tho the heel is 14cm and the platform less than 4cm. With the ankle-strap they stay on my feet even when running, which is a good thing also, since I usually have problems buying "open" shoes. My feet are kinda flat and the shoes often fall off my feet when walking, heh.

And the best part? Originally these are $289,95, but I got them for only $97,97 ! Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Tässä asu tältä päivältä, kenkiä lukuunottamatta tietenkin. Tuolla lumikinoksissa ei paljoo tällasilla juosta, mut halusin näistä kuvia jalassa joten raahasin kahdet kengät kaupungille, höö.

Kirjoitin tossa muutama päivä sitten Jeffrey Campbellin Everest -kengistä, kun en saanut selkoa siihen että mikä versio ko. kengästä on aito. Jos et ole lukenut postausta, lue se tästä. Vastauksia tuli puolesta ja vastaan ja osa ei edes tiennyt, joten saamieni kommenttien jälkeenkään en ollut ihan 100% varma.

Noh, laitoin Facebookissa Jeffrey Campbell shoesille viestiä aiheesta ja sain vihdoin vastauksen aiheeseen :)

I wrote about the Everest -shoes by Jeffrey Campbell couple days ago, because I couldn't figure out which shoe was the real deal. If you haven't read the post, read it here. I got quite many answers but still, I couldn't be 100% sure.

So, I sent a message to Jeffrey Campbell shoes via their Facebook, and here's the answer I got :)



No eipähän tarvi enää miettiä, vaikka on mun mielestä silti vähän kummallista, että yhdestä ja samasta kengästä on niin monta erilaista versiota. Täytyy sit vissiin vaan ite päättää mikä niistä versioista miellyttää silmää eniten !

Well, no need to wonder about this anymore, tho I still find it a bit weird there is so many different versions of one shoe. But I guess everybody can just pick the version which is for their liking !

Tossa yks viikonloppu Black Fridayn aikoihin hyödynsin Solestruckin alennuksia, jotka oli aika maukkaita etenkin Jeffrey Campbellin kenkien osalta ! Ostoskoriin ei kuitenkaan päätynyt tää Everest -kenkä jota tää postaus koskee, mutta siitä mun tilauksesta lisää sit myöhemmin kunhan se ensin saapuu :)

Omistan siis jo Litat ja Cleatat ja pari muuta. Oon aatellu et yks seuraavista malleista minkä haluisin, vois hyvinkin olla Everest, eli Litan ns. "sporttisempi" versio. Mut mitä nyt tässä oon eri nettikauppoja selaillut, mun silmään on pistänyt niin monta eri versiota tästä kengästä ja kaikissa näissä kaupoissa ko. kenkää myydään siis aitona JC:nä.

Sikspä aattelin kääntyä teidän muiden mahdollisten JC fanien puoleen, jospa joku teistä tietäis mua paremmin mikä on se aito ja alkuperäinen versio !

Some time ago, on Black Friday, I took the advantage of the sales on Solestruck, which were quite nice, especially for Jeffrey Campbell shoes ! I didn't buy the Everest -shoes which this post is about, but I'll tell you more about my order after it arrives :)

So, I already own Lita and Cleata shoes and couple others. I've been thinking about getting Everest, the so-called "sporty" version of Lita, in the future. But after browsing different webstores, I noticed there's so many versions of this shoe, all sold as autenthic JC.

I thought maybe some of you fellow JC fans might know better about this than I do. Which is the REAL autenthic and original version?

Ruskea ja musta Everest Solestruckilta. Tää versio vaikuttaa mun silmään siltä aidoimmalta. Ja eikös Solestruck oo JC:n virallinen jälleenmyyjä myös?

Everest in brown and black from Solestruck. This version looks the most autenthic to me. And isn't Solestruck JC's official retailer?

Entäs sit tää versio? Nelly myy kaikkia JC:n kenkiään aitoina, mutta miks toi kengät kärki ja plato on ns. "erilliset"? Saman oon huomannu muissakin Nellyssä myytävissä JC'issä. Tsekkaa esim. Night Lita.

Eli, onko Nellyn Jeffrey Campbellit feikkejä?

How about this version? Nelly is selling all it's JC shoes as autenthic, but why the platform is "separated" from the rest of the shoe? I've noticed the same thing in other JC shoes on Nelly. Check Night Lita for example. 

So, are Nelly's Jeffrey Campbells fake?
Tästä päästääkin vielä näihin kahteen versioon. Envishoesin Everest on ihan ihmeellinen kaikin puolin. Miks siinä on ihan erilainen korko kuin muissa Everesteissä? Vai onko JC oikeesti tehnyt tollasen version jossa on ihan vammanen pyöree, paksu korko?

Ja sit vielä tää Nordstromin kenkä. Näyttäis muuten samalta kuin Solestruckin versio, mutta tummemman ruskealta. Miks siinä on erilaiset nauhat? Tuleeko kenkien mukana kahdet eri nauhat? Tätä versioo myydään vissiin myös Spirit Storessa.

And finally these two versions. Envishoes has this overally weird version of Everest. Why does it have different heel than the other Everest shoes? Or has JC really made a version with such a round, thick heel?

The shoe from Nordstrom looks pretty similar to the Solestruck version, but is darker brown and has different shoelaces. Why are they different? Does the shoe come with two different laces? I think this version is sold in Spirit Store here in Finland too.


Siinäpä pohdittavaa ihan tarpeeks yhen kengän osalta, osaako kukaan teistä antaa vastauksia? :D Jos ostan nää joskus niin haluun ostaa 100% aidot.

I've been drooling over shiny black Dr. Martens for atleast a year now, but never actually purchased a pair. Also, spike Litas have been haunting in my mind buuut, I've decided not to buy them since they're too similar to my normal Litas. But...

Sain 100€ lahjakortin Zalando.fi'ltä ja eipä tarvinut kauaa miettiä kun nämä kaunokaiset jo päätyivät ostoskoriin ! Alunperin 139,95€ maksaneet kengät (ei siis alunperinkään mitenkään kalliit Campbelleiksi), maksoivat mulle siis vain 39,95€ !! Eli toisin sanoen melkein ilmaiset Jeffrey Campbellit ! Kuumotteli kyllä jotkut korkkaritkin, mut oon kauheen nirso kenkien kanssa, eli jos en löydä täydellisiä niin en osta.

Oon myös melko mukavuudenhaluinen kenkien kanssa, enkä jaksa käyttää korkkareita töissä jne, joten nää pääsee kyllä kovaan käyttöön !

Postituksessa kesti noin viikko, ja kengät saapui mulle tuntemattomalla MyPack -postituksella mua lähimpänä olevaan Siwaan.. En tainnut ees katsoa millä menetelmällä Zalandosta postitetaan joten ihmettelin vähän kun kännykkään tuli viesti että nyt olis noudettavissa, eikä lähettäjä ollutkaan Itella :D Noh, perille tuli turvallisesti anyway :)

I got a 100€ giftcard from Zalando.fi and it didn't take long until I clicked these beauties to the shopping cart ! Originally 139,95€ (which isn't that bad price for Campbells anyway), but after the discount only 39,95€ !! So in other words, almost free Jeffrey Campbells ! I kinda wanted to buy heels too but I'm very picky when it comes to shoes and I won't buy them unless they're perfect.

I also prefer comfy shoes when working and stuff, so I'll be wearing these a lot in the future !

The shipping took ~1 week and they arrived as a "MyPack" -packet, which I had never heard of before (and I didn't really bother to check what shipping method they use when I ordered these, haha) so I was a bit confused when I got a text message to my phone which said I could pick them somewhere else than my usual post office. Anyway, I got them here safely ! :)

Kengät pääsivät jalkaan heti seuraavana päivänä, parin muun vasta hankitun jutun kanssa ! Neuleen nappasin mukaani Ginasta koossa XXL (not kidding), koska halusin oikeen ison ja löysän :---D Myös toi niittipanta on uusi. Kuulin että Backstreetillä myydään noita, ja koska olin meinannut tilaa vastaavan eBaysta aiemmin, kävin nappasemassa yhden mukaani !

I wore the shoes immediately on the next day with couple other new purchases ! I bought this knit couple days ago from Gina Tricot in size XXL (not kidding), because I wanted a really big and loose one :---D Also that studded hairband is new. I heard they sell them at Backstreet, so I had to go get one, since I've been thinking about buying one from eBay !

Mietin eka et haluisin hopeet toiseksi pariksi, mutta heti kun kuvat Cleatoista (cleata = clear lita, hähä) pamahti nettiin, unohdin kaikki ajatukset niistä hopeista.. :--D Näitten väri on "NUDE" vaikka taittaakin melkoisesti vaaleanpunaiseen, mut ei haittaa. Nude on kiva väri siitä että sekin menee aika monen muun värin kanssa !

Say hello to my new babies, Cleatas ! I went to get these beauties from the customs couple days ago, and I have to say again that I couldn't be more satisfied ! Since I for my Litas, I've been thinkin about getting another pair in other color.. if you haven't noticed XD
First I was thinking about getting silver ones, but as soon as the pics of Cleatas (cleata = clear lita, hähä) were published online, I forgot all the thoughts I had about the silver ones.. :--D The color of these is "NUDE" tho it's quite close to light pink, but it doesn't matter to me. Nude is a nice color because it goes with pretty much any color !

Yks iso syy miks rakastuin näihin, oli toi läpinäkyvä muovinen osa koska se oli niin ihanan erikoinen ! Siinä on sisäpuolella pieniä reikiä, jotta jalat ei hikois. Mutta... nää oli mulla eilen ekaa kertaa jalassa ja voin kertoo että kyllä hikos XD Mut sit hieroin jalkoihin vähän talkkia niin ei hikoillut enää läheskään niin pahasti :--D Mut aattelin vielä koklaa Stockalla myytävää jalka antiperspiranttia, jos se vaikka toimis ja ois helpompi käyttää. Koska ongelma ei oo se, että jalat suinkaan haisis pahalle vaan se että näyttää vähän hassulta kun toi muovinen osa menee huuruun...... hahahah.
Ihan sama, tykkään näistä silti ihan järjettömän paljon.

One big reason why I fell in love with these, was that transparent plastic part in them because it was so unique ! It has tiny holes in it on the inner side so your feet won't sweat. But... I wore these for the first time yesterday and I can tell you they did sweat XD But then I tried to put some baby powder on my feet and it helped quite a lot :---D But I was thinking about trying the antiperspirant for feet they sell at Stockmann, because I think it would be so much easier to use than the powder. Because the problem ain't smelly feet, it only looks a bit silly when the plastic parts are getting "steamy".... hahaha.
Whatever, I still like these incredibly lot.

Takaa ! Ei varmaan tartte kertoa miks halusin toisen parin? No kerron kuitenkin. Litat on ollu parhaat korkkarit kävellä IKINÄ, siks halusin ne toisessakin värissä. Tai no Cleata on periaatteessa eri kenkä mut sama malli, joten...

Käytiin viimeviikon perjantaina päiväristeilyllä Tallinnassa Alexin, Niklaksen, Tuomaksen, Heikin, Samin ja Tünden kanssa. S-etukortilla sai Alepasta sellasen kupongin millä sai menopaluun 10€'lla joten ei voinut jättää tilaisuutta käyttämättä kun oli niin halpa.

Heräsin kun mun kello soi 4:20, laittauduin, puin, söin, yms ja otin bussin steissille, mistä sitten jatkettiin Heikin, Samin ja Tünden kanssa yhtämatkaa Länsisatamaan. Miitattiin loput porukasta terminaalissa 7:30 ja laiva lähti 8:00. Voin kertoo että väsytti :-D

Laivamatka kesti 3 tuntia ja meni pubin puolella suomihittejä kuunnellessa ja eläkeläiset tanssi vieressä, haha. 11:00 oltiin vihdoin perillä.

Tallinnassa nyt ei ihan hirveesti oo tsekkaamisen arvoisia paikkoja, mut perus Rotermannin Pull&Bear, Bershka ja Stradivarius tuli kierrettyä, mut en löytänyt mitään. Bershkassa oli yhellä mallinukella kiva asukokonaisuus (otin siitä kuvan lol, löytyy tuolta alempaa) mut ykskään niistä vaatteista ei erillään ollut tarpeeks kiva niin en sit halunnut niistä mitään XD Ärsyttää kun käy näin.

Nomut ehkäpä ihan hyvä etten vielä innostunut löysäämään kukkaron nyörejä koska sit löysin jotain kivaa....

Visited Tallinn last Friday with Alex, Niklas, Tuomas, Heikki, Sami and Tünde. You could get discount coupons from Alepa while ago if you had a S-etukortti, and with that coupon you get the 1 day trip for 10€ ! It was mad cheap so we couldn't pass this offer, haha.
I woke up at 4:20 when my alarm rang, did my makeup, got dressed, ate etc. and took a bus to the railway station where I met Heikki, Sami and Tünde, and continued to the harbor together with them. Met up with the rest at the terminal 7:30 and our boat took off at 8:00. I can tell you I was tired :-D
The boat trip to Tallinn lasted 3 hours and we spent the time sitting in the pub side of the boat, listening to old finnish hit songs while old people were dancing next to us, haha. 11:00 we finally arrived to Tallinn.
There's not really much to see in Tallinn. but we checked out the clothingstores in Rotermann, Pull&Bear, Bershka and Stradivarius because we don't have those in Finland. In Bershka, one of the mannequins had a nice coordinate (I took a pic of it haha, see it later in this post) but none of the items were that fabulous themself so I didn't buy anything XD I hate when that happens.
But maybe it was a good thing, because I soon found something worth buying anyway...



Lähtipä siis reissulta mukaani nämä JC'n ballerinat ! Yhetkään tarjolla olleista korkkareista ei miellyttänyt mua, joten päädyimpä vaihteeks mataliin kenkiin. Ihan hyvä ehkä koska mun aikasemmat kesäläpsyttimet on ihan kaameessa kunnossa ja oon useesti vienyt niitä jo suutarille, vaihtanut pohjaa ja vaikka mitä.

Lisäks oon ollut enemmän kuin tyytyväinen mun Litoihin joten en usko et nääkään tulee olemaan pettymys vaikka vähän hintavammat ballerinoiksi olikin.
Bought these JC ballerinas ! None of the heels they had were for my liking so I ended up buying flats for a change. Which is actually a good thing since my old ones are in terrible condition, I've taken them to be fixed many times and they've even changed the bottoms and stuff.
I've been more than happy with my Litas so I don't think these will be a disappointment either, even tho they were a bit pricey for ballerinas hehe.


Kauppojen kiertelyn jälkeen mentiin Vapianoon syömään. Niin hauskaa et täysin sama ruoka mitä saat Suomestakin oli niin paljon halvempaa. Kallein ruoka listalla tais olla 9,50€ hahaha, oli rikas olo.

After checking out the stores we went to eat at Vapiano. So funny because the same food you can buy from Finland too was so much cheaper. I think the most expensive thing on the menu was 9,50€ hahaha, feeling rich.


Syömisen jälkeen tehtiin vielä viimehetken shoppailuja juomavarastojen täyttämiseksi. Laiva takaisin Helsinkiin lähti 16:30, joten aikaa maissa oli 5 ja puoli tuntia, mikä riitti hyvin kaikkeen. Otettiin hytti paluumatkalle, koska oltiin kaikki väsyneitä päivän kiertelyn ja tavaroiden kantamisen jälkeen. Takaisin Helsingissä oltiin 20:00.

After dinner we did some last minute booze shopping (that's why finnish people usually go to Tallinn, it's so much cheaper than in Finland). The boat left back to Helsinki at 16:30 so we had 5 and half hours total in Tallinn. It was enough to do everything we had planned. We rented a cabinet from the boat on the way back because everyone was so tired from all the walking and carrying stuff all day long. We arrived back to Helsinki 20:00.

Torstaina oltiin jännän äärellä. Puhuin DHLn kanssa puhelimessa aamulla siitä, että mun tilaama paketti on vihdoin suomessa, ja sovittiin että se toimitetaan mun koululle, jossa oon 12 asti. Arvatkaa kuinka vaikee oli istuu tunnilla kun takaraivossa kuumotteli se paketti.
Samalla kun koitin päntätä ruotsia päähäni, seurasin kuumeisesti netistä että missä paketti liikkuu.

Mut kello löi 12 ja mun pakettia ei koskaan kuulunut. Menin siis kotiin, mutta saavuttuani soitin vielä uudestaan DHL'lle ja sanoin että oon mun kotiosoitteessa 13:30 asti ennenkuin lähen junalla Jyväskylään viikonlopuks. Sanoivat että onnistuu, mutta epäilin kyllä vähän.

Onneks mun puhelin kuitenkin soi 20min ennen junaan lähtöä ja kävin hakemassa paketin alaovelta, oi onnea ! Arvaatteko mitä paketissa oli?

Thursday was an exciting day for me. In the morning, I had a call with DHL about a parcel I had ordered a while ago, and it had finally arrived to Finland. I told I'll be at school till 12 so they can drop it off at my school. Can you guess how hard it was to study when you know something awesome will arrive any minute.

Ta-dah ! My Jeffrey Campbell Litas finally arrived ! Ok I ordered them on Tuesday, last week, but the waiting felt like forever. The color I bought is 'Distressed black'. The price with taxes and shipping was 217€ from Nordstrom.com.

Uskon et nää varmasti herättää mielipiteitä moneen suuntaan, tottapuhuen kauhistelin eka itekin mut lopulta kuitenkin lämpenin ja menetin sydämeni lopullisesti.


Korkoa ja 13cm ja platformia 4cm. Mut nää on ehkä maailman mukavimmat kengät jalassa ja äärettömän helpot kävellä ! Ja sanon tän sellasena ihmisenä, jolla jokaiset korkkarit tai kengät mitkä ei oo hyvät kävellä, jää käyttämättä.

They have 13cm heel and 4cm platform. But they also might be the comfiest shoes I've ever worn, and SO easy to walk in. And I'm saying this as a person who won't wear any heels or shoes that feel like crap or are hard to walk in.

Ja vaikka nää saattaa näyttää tällasilta moukareilta, nää on super kevyetkin !


Mun ehdottomat lempparikengät ikinä, ei oo vaikee arvaa mitä tulee näkymään jalassa tästä eteenpäin? Kuvailen näitä vielä lisää asujen kanssa kunhan kerkeen.
