Sleeping Baby, a Boo Boo and a Bandaid!

Here is how I found Little Man last night after putting him to bed.....can we say relaxed?  

Take a quick peek at his toe....it's his first big "boo boo" covered with his first Curious Gerorge bandaid! He cut it the other day - now it is being stubborn and taking forever to heal.  But it doesn't look like it is bothering him too much does it?  

 

Brush, Brush, Brush Your Teeth!

Our little dentist is crazy about brushing his teeth! Go figure?! I just hope that he is always so anxious to brush his pearly whites!!

A Boy and His Puppy Dog

I'm ONE!

Last week marked a very huge milestone in our little man's life. Little Man turned ONE! This is hardly even imaginable to me. How could one year pass so quickly? How could our tiny baby turn into a wobbly walking, trying to talk tot in 365 days? As the day approached, so did the emotions of reliving every moment leading up to his birth......counting the days until my due date, my water breaking in the mall parking lot (yes, yes, it happened!), going to the hospital, delivery, holding him for the first time in my arms and watching his daddy adore his brand new son and finally bringing Little Man home. It was a jammed packed few days that changed our lives. Wow! And now look.....

As we celebrate what a gift we have in our little guy, we can't forget the giver of our gift...our Heavenly Father above. He knew Little Man before he was even created.....before we even thought about wanting a child. I pray everyday that the Lord will lead us down a path to be Godly parents for Little Man and his life.

L's VERY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

August 13th is approaching!

Oh, my!  With my heart pounding and a slight quiver in my lip......I am slowly grasping the fact that L will officially be one year old in a matter of days.  I don't know why I am being so emotional...yet, I am.  As I begin to think about how this year has changed our lives, I also think back to how excited we were about anticipating his arrival exactly one year ago.  The journey that we were about to embark on...aahhhhh...makes me want to go back in time and do it all over again.  Yes, you heard me right....I would do it ALL over again.  No hesitation!  

What a difference a year makes????????
