Honk if you love OPI - DS Original

Honk if you love OPI is from the Touring America collection
A gorgeous blackened berry
I free handed some sadly misshapen v french tips and my ring finger with DS Origional
I love blackened shades like this where you can easily in any light tell the color but it's so very deep and vampy still
I used 2 coats of Honk if you <3 OPI and one of DS Original
Vampy and holo is a favorite combo for it they just compliment the best parts of each other
I feel silly saying every single time that the formula is great so with OPI I will just let you know if I ever get one that sucks. (^o^)
This is a busy season for me so I'll do my best to post and update as much as possible.
Just remember that I adore you all and miss you much and you can always DM me on Twitter or FaceBook.
*Smooches*

Duochrome duo anyone?

After my franken failed at showing it's duochrome I needed my duochrome fix
Good old Nubar to the rescue
I used Nubar Indigo Illusion with an accent nail of an old Nubar Shock in Iris Dust
Oh yeah that's what I'm talkin' about
Indigo Illusion is more of a pale blue teal with a lilac shimmering duochrome
Iris dust is a gorgeous wine with a bronze to pink duochrome
I love these so much as you can see by the less than full bottles
Say it with me....Yummy
I feel better now

OPI swiss Collection Fall 2010 Part 2 the Shimmers

I can't even say how awesome these colors are so I'll let the pictures say it all.
Glitzerland is my least favorite but only because gold does not look good on me.
This is 2 coats with great application.

The Color to Watch makes me drool!
A complex purple with lighter purple shimmer it almost shifts blue.
3 coats but very worth it!

Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous is a sweet gunmetal foil.

Requested Comparison's OPI Swiss Collection

I had a couple suggested possible dupes in the OPI Swiss collection
First William tell me about OPI vs. Lincoln Park after Dark
In the bottles they look like possible dupes. William tell me about OPI looks a bit lighter than LPAD.

Index and ring finger William tell me about OPI. Middle and pinky Lincoln Park after Dark.
On the nail you can see that WTmaO is a couple of shades lighter than LPAD.
Also William tell me about OPI is more toned wine where as Lincoln Park after Dark is more blackened Burgandy. For me they are different enough to own both.

Next up is Color so hot it Berns vs. Red my Fortune Cookie
At first glance the look pretty close.

CshiB looks a touch pinker.

On the nail top to bottm Color so hot it Berns, Red my fortune cookie, Color so hot it Berns, and Red my Fortune Cookie.

Index and ring finger Color so hot it Berns. Middle and pinky Red my Fortune Cookie.
Color so hot it berns is a pink toned red and Red my fortune cookie is orange based.

I hope this helps. If you have any other possible dupes please let me know and if I have both I am happy to compare them.

OPI Swiss Collection Fall 2010 Part 1 The cremes

OPI's Swiss collection is coming in Fall 2010

These are the 6 creme's of the collection inspired by Sweden.
The only thing that would have made me more excited about this collection is if it had come with a round trip ticket to Sweden. Feline can I sleep on your couch?
(Explaination: I know the collection is refering to Switzerland but I don't happen to have friends there so I'd like to swap for Sweden or maybe a full European tour...a stop in Slovenia, Norway, Finland, The Netherlands Hi Rozie, The UK and a quick stop in to see Lily in Frace.)
This collection is full of rich fall shades with a bit of funn tossed in.

Color so Hot it Berns- Classic Red creme very slightly pink toned.
I am a red addict so I always get excited over a new red.

I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic- a brown toned red creme
The color is very pretty but as you can see my skin tone makes it less brown toned and more brick red which it is not. So for those who can wear these lovely shades...you're going to love this one!

From a to Zurich is a pink toned wine.
I love these rich colors for fall, though I wear them year round.

Just a Little Rosti at this- a perfect deep wine
More purple than FAtZ and deeper, richer shade.

William Tell me about OPI- a deep plum
This is my favorite of the creme's. Vampy but not blackened and very clearly plum in all light.
Drooooool

Ski Teal we Drop- a dark teal creme
This a sexy deep teal. I think it is easily the best teal creme I've seen in a while.

The formula was OPI's normal fabulous. Ski Teal we Drop was a bit thinner than the rest but not runny.
I will be  back soon with the other half of the collection.

Are you looking forward to Fall or trying to hang on to Summer?
I'm ready for Fall but can we skip Winter?

Zoya Wonderful

Zoya's Wicked and Wonderful collection

These are the 6 Wonderful shades.
All vampy fall cremes

Shawn is a great dark olive green.

Cola is a fun deep brick red creme.

Kristi is a sweet pink toned red.

Burke is a great deep rose.

Stacy is a yummy wine creme.

Kelly is a dark blue based gray creme.

All were opaque in 2 thin coats. The formula is very nice as usual with Zoya.
You can find this collection here
I really love the contrast in Wicked and Wonderful!

Random Borghese swatches

Borghese has a nice variety of colors, so I thought I'd share a few.

Biscotto Beige is pretty close to maniquine hands on me but for most it would be a nice creamy medium beige.
Mezzanotte Blue is a yummy Navy blue jelly. I used 2 coats but I'm sure a 3rd would make it opaque.
Bella Berry is a shimmery wine. I love this shade!
Plumagio Purple is more of a deep blue with purple micro shimmer. It's a beautiful color and it's camera shy.
Stellare Notte is a beautiful duochrome that flashes from it's deep charcoal base with bursts of green, blue, purple and a hint of bronze.

Do you have any favorite Borghese colors?
