Shattered Mermaid's Tears

This combo just screamed out to me!

OPI Turquoise Shatter, from the Blue Shatters collection, and Mermaid's Tears, from The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides collection.

I am loving both collections so much!

I used 2 coats of Mermaid's Tears, 1 coat of seche Vite, then one coat of Turquoise Shatter and 1 more coat of SV.

I had to leave at least one nail showing mostly Mermaid's Tears.

Mermaid's Tears is a perfect dusty sea foam green creme with the most perfect formula.

Turquoise Shatter is my favorite shade of turquoise with heavy green shimmer and applies fabulously!

My camera refused to take a color accurate picture of Turquoise shatter, it is a true turquoise and not nearly as blue as it shows on camera.

I'm going to have fun with these shatters!

OPI Texas Collection- Austin-tatios Turquoise

I lived in Austin for a couple of years but I won't hold that against this color! :o)

In the bottle this color is gorgeous...a shimmering turquoise with lots of blue

On the nail it is a greener teal with blue shimmer

It is also verrrrry sheer which disappointed me

All of these pictures are 3 coats with a definite need for a 4th

Application was fine, though it is a bit runny so I had to be cautious to avoid pooling at the cuticles while trying to get enough color to get some coverage.

If you love turquoise/teal then this color is likely worth the extra effort and coats needed.

Having a Pool Party

Essence Pool Party from The Color & Go

I love the bottle, it's perfect for my small hands. The brush is amazing, flat and slightly wider than standard.

The color is beautiful. Formula is very nice and smooth.

I could not get the true color to show for anything.

Pool Party is Turquoise a perfect slightly blued green with glitter.

The glitter is very fine so no lumpy, bumpy finish.

I am so happy with this color and am excited to try the others.

Color Club Pure Energy!

This one is a favorite of mine, it's a great Aqua with shimmer that leans a little green.

2 coats with Seche Vite fast dry top coat to perfect.

Sorry for the blurry pictures my camera got a little over excited about this color

This color makes me want to jump into the ocean

You can see the greenish undertone in the shimmer
