6th album by Urn, 6 years after their last one. This is still heavy, energetic stuff with that thrashy edge, but it sounds less black to me than it used to. The vocals are softer and more tuneful and the riffs and leads are a lot more accessible than they used to be. Enjoyable, even if it's not as feral as it used to be.

It seems as if the band wasn’t under any pressure while working on the songs and album. The songs offer versatility in sound, where pace and aggression alternates with darkness.
