Debut album by Batushka. That came out of nowhere and convulsed the whole extreme metal scene. This is a brutal and epic album. This is a weird combination, a perfect balance between doomy sections and black metal blasts. It is full of liturgical chants and sporadically placed ecclesiastic bells, while some D-Beat moments can be found here and there.
