The 8th album by Satyricon, 5 years after the last one, is a bit of a departure from the evolved sound of norwegian black metal. Throughout this album you will hear memories from older albums, but overall the album is mid-paced, with thick lead guitars, that sound a lil bit 'rock' and with a plodding pop metal drum beat. Some tracks are good listening to them individually but as a whole the album sucks a bit!
