3rd album by Om. This release is still metal as fuck and OM has proven to be a fascinating evolution upon the heavy doom roots of Sleep. Chris Hakius and Al Cisneros, the rhythm-section of former doom legends Sleep,  continue the sound of Sleep, but purified and more minimal. They take heavy music in a more spiritual direction.

Debut album by Deicide. The album is over in 33 minutes and the 10 tracks on the album are all relatively short. The riffs are blunt and forceful, never relenting until the album's final moments. The pace is mostly fast with lots of blast beats but drummer Steve Asheim's tempo changes never let the songs become trivial.
