The 3rd album by Vindicator, finds the band with some lineup changes. Singer Marshall Law has quit the band and the vocals are now handled by guitarist and composer Vic Stown. The band also got reinforced by guitarist James J.LaRue (ex-White Wizzard). The music on the whole is obviously derivative, but Vindicator still manages to make it work. Rapid, sharp, violent and aggressive thrash, with some killer riffs, nice choruses and some outstanding solos.

The 3rd album by Ereb Altor finds them with some big changes. From a 2-piece band to now being a 3-piece band, Ereb Altor sounds like a completely different band. Gone are the traits of their previous pagan/doom/viking metal sound and, at the forefront, is a new epic black metal sound. All songs clock over the 5-minute mark and provide some great atmosphere, showing that the band is doing also fine with their new direction.
