Karst - Cleaning A Cave

Genre: Progr. Black
Country: Hungary
Year: 2011

1. Kettős
2. Oltalmazó
3. Beteg
4. Megbomlott
5. Halandó
6. Közös
7. Etlen
8. Sóvár
9. Bead A Part
10. Jövő

Debut album by Karst. Their sound reminds me of Burzum's Fallen and their music a lil bit of Forgotten Woods. They are playing black metal with some moments of punk and heavy metal. Great riffs, nice atmosphere, amazing production and the rough accent of the vocalist is pushing the whole album upwards.

9. Vértigo
10. Una Historia Cualquiera De Nadie

2nd album by Entropiah. 32 minutes of grindcore madness!!! Some moments bring in mind more techn. death metal bands, others more crusty hardcore bands and others pure grindcore groups. The perfect mix of these 3 subgenres.

Voivod - War And Pain

Genre: Thrash
Country: Canada
Year: 1984

1. Voivod
2. Warriors of Ice
3. Suck Your Bone
4. Iron Gang
5. War and Pain
6. Blower
7. Live for Violence
8. Black City
9. Nuclear War

Debut album by Voivod. Somewhere between Discharge and Venom with lashings of Motörhead, the band plays with more enthusiasm than skill, but it’s easy to tell that this is the nucleus of something quite special. The riffs are really thrash styled, fast power chords and super fast solo's. Snake's vocals are radically different on this album, his whiny shrieks adding a distinctive flavor that was and still unique.

Machine Head - Unto The Locust

Genre: Thrash/Groove
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2011

1. I Am Hell (Sonata In C#)
2. Be Still And Know
3. Locust
4. This Is The End
5. Darkness Within
6. Pearls Before The Swine
7. Who We Are

7th album by Machine Head. After their thrashiest album ever (The Blackening), they are back with a more groovy album. They are still on the thrash field, but with more groovy, alternative moments and some clean vocals here and there. The shortest song is around 5 minutes, but the songs are not tiring.
