BUCUREŞTI ZOOM IN - ATHENEUL ROMÂN

recent, am fost în Bucureşti, cu prilej de aducere aminte... 
30 de ani de la terminarea şcolii de arhitectură...
deliberat, am făcut câţiva paşi prin locuri ce sunt scrise pe veci în sufletul şi în viaţa mea...
deliberat, am făcut fotografii, aproape numai cu teleobiectivul... ca un "zoom in" prin şi peste decenii...
primul loc a fost catedrala Sfântul Iosif...
acum, este Atheneul...
aşa l-am văzut eu...

I was recently to Bucharest, in moments of rememberings...
30 years from the graduation of the architecture school...
on the purpose, I walked in places that are forever written in my heart, in my life...
on the purpose, I took pictures, almost exclusively with the tele lens... like a "zoom in" in, and over decades...
the first place was St. Josepf Cathedral... 
now, it's the Atheneum..
this is how I saw it...



Atheneul Român este ales de multe ori ca simbol al Bucureştiului, sau chiar al României...
pe bună dreptate...
eu îl simt ca un fel de totem, de simbol al culturii româneşti cu rang de universalitate... sala lui rotundă, micuţă, e deosebit de caldă, de primitoare, e un loc ideal în care să te pregăteşti să fii copleşit de frumuseţe...


The Romanian Atheneum is usually used as a symbol of Bucharest, or even of he whole country...
i feel it as a totem, a symbol of the romanian culture, with universal touch...
the round concert hall, is small, warm, a perfect place to be overwhelmed by beauty...



ascultă balada... ascultă sufletul acestui neam...
listen the ballad... listen the heart of this nation...
