A few days ago, I frogged an old winter knit because I didn't think my brioche stitch was neat enough and because it came out slightly too small.
Instead, I've started a refreshingly cheerful summer knit - still woolen, though.
Off-white was never my favourite colour (mainly because my complexion is almost off-white during winter...), but when worked together with a fine strand of light grey yarn it becomes a pale grey which I like quite a bit more. I think it goes really well with the colours I chose for the edging.
The pattern is an enlarged version of Helga Isager's Clover for children (website | Ravelry). Yes, the original version was indeed the enlarged version, but I like this approach better for two reasons:
1) The needles are smaller and hence the fabric finer - I like that
2) I have the pattern for the children's version, but not for the original adult version
I started last night and I am speeding along at a pace that impresses even me...!
