Decided to paint a letter to Santa rather than write it, "as it will be much prettier Mama!"  She even make her own envelope and painted it too.

Revisiting the cherry blossom grove near my parents place.  We had a little photo shoot here with our little girl when she was about his age.  How the trees have grown - and my baby girl ;)

After weeks of illness, colds, conjunctivitis and fever, a short and simple trip to the park in the warm spring sunshine with your new Red Riding Hood Cape was just the thing.  "Mama look at all the beautiful flowers in the meadow!"  I so love your delightful fairytale-esque ways.

Little boy - even with a double ear infection you are still laid back and happy.  Watching your big sister happily picking flowers.

It always amazes me how your long hair disappears so neatly into your "ballet bun".  Today was your first concert and you were so excited.  We weren't sure if you were going to make it due to illness but you did.  You had such a wonderful day with all your ballet buddies and were simply beaming on stage.

So flexible you are, often to be found chewing your toes!

An afternoon of fishing with your cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles at their "boat shed" on Waiheke Island.  You caught your first fish - such excitement!  You were so proud.  So were we.

Tree Climbing at our local beach in the evening after a wee "cafe dinner date" with just the two of us.  We were having such a good time together that mama forgot to call a rather worried Daddy to tell him where we were!
