Inky Gift Bag and Coordinating Tag

Good Friday morning everyone, it's time for some Inky Impressions inspiration.  Today I want to share with you this cute gift bag with coordinating tag I made using this adorable image from Inky Impressions.  This image is called "Marleigha's Ornament Dance" and you can find it here at the Inky Impressions store.  For this project I started with a paper bag, I just trimmed some of the top off and cut the edge with scalloped scissors.  I covered both front and back with cardstock and patterned paper and inked the edges with distress ink.
For my image, I started by stamping her with black ink on white cardstock and colored her with Prismacolor color pencils.  After I cut the shape with the Spellbinders' die I used the die and shaded the edges of the embossed area with some distress ink.
Here is a closeup of the coordinating tag, I stamped the sentiment, it's called "Winter Fun Scalloped Circle Sentiment", on white cardstock with black ink, cut with scissors, I shaded the area with the word "FUN" with distress ink and added some stickles for a touch of sparkle.
I hope you enjoyed my project today, thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day.

Inky Impressions Challenge #IIC34

Hi everyone and welcome to another great Inky Impressions Challenge, our challenge theme this week is "Make Your Own Embellishments", isn't this a fun challenge!!!  For my project today, I started by applying some aspen mist ink to the tag, I then embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and touched it up with stormy sky distress ink.  I sized adorable "MaMaw" to fit the large "Labels Twenty" die and printed on transparency.  Using the die, I cut the transparency, a layer of white cardstock, and a layer of white fun foam.  I used all these layers to create a shaker box, I just added some snow and some Gala Glitz.
The poinsettias I made with the "Layered Poinsettia" die, I used the die to emboss and stencil the blue color on the embossed area.  I also added some tulle , I cut one end to look like icicles and gathered the top, glued down and adhered a string of silver pearls.
Well, hope you liked my take on the challenge, please make sure to join in the fun and show us your creations, just visit the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog and link your project.  Thanks for stopping by.

Ducky Christmas Ornament

Hi Inky fans, today I want to share with you a project I made featuring one of the adorable Inky images.  I have made a christmas ornament using the adorable "Delilah's Ducky Christmas" image which you can find here.

For the background, once I colored it I applied embossing ink all over the piece of watercolor paper and heat embossed with kaleidoscope embossing powder to get the really fun shimmery background.
I used a couple of large metal filigree corners and attached to the paper with jump rings.  Also added some punched branches and little roses with a touch of Stickles.
I also added a little charm I made with a bead and gold bead findings.
Here is a close up of all the different layers, used lots of pop dots for dimension.
