Wedding Inspiration :: Beano's Cabin

Beano's Cabin! I think we all know by now that Beano's Cabin is one of my favorite venues in all of Colorado! Jolyn and Andrew were married here in September, fall was just starting to show signs on the surrounding mountain sides.

Wedding Inspiration :: Fall at Devil's Thumb Ranch

Fall in the Rocky Mountains is just beautiful, this year the aspen trees seems especially golden as we drove to Devil's Thumb Ranch just outside Winter Park. The weather was just perfect for Eryn's outdoor wedding ceremony, the aspen trees golden in the background. Bright orange flowers combined with cream flowers were just to achieve the look for this fall wedding.
I had a great time collaborating with Julie Gambrell of Classic Creations on Eryn's wedding. For the round tables we used tall silver candelabras to hold arrangements of orange and cream flowers. On the rectangular tables we used wood slabs as runners and placed an assortment of containers filled with orange and cream flowers down the center. We designed the centerpieces in milk glass, mint julep cups and silver mercury glass containers.

Flower Inspiration :: Jess & Mike's Breckenridge Wedding

We had the pleasure of designing flowers for Jess & Mike's wedding at their private home in Breckenridge. The colors Jess selected were dark purple, bright orange and lime green. She had a great time picking up containers from Anthropologie and canning jars from all sorts of sources. We filled all her containers with flowers, a bit on the wildflower side yet still distinct in colors.
The weather was perfect & we had a great team to work with - Debbie from Save The Date Events, Alaneyer from Occasions by Sandy Catering & Paige Elizabeth Photography.

Isn't the tent pretty & unique:

Fun chalkboards told guests what they were about to enjoy, we decorated them all with blossoms:

Donovan Pavilion - Vail, Colorado

Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colorado is amazing for so many reasons! First of all, it's in Vail! Second, the room is so versatile, I love that it has the bit of a woodsy, mountain feel without going crazy with the woodsy, mountain feel. I like that any color palette works here. I think it is wonderful that the ceremony site is right outside the reception room, in the background you can hear the creek flowing by. The people who are in charge are so easy to work with and there is plenty of parking out front. If you are looking for a location for your wedding in Vail be sure to check Donovan's Pavilion out.
I had the pleasure of working there recently with Heather Allen of Table 6 Productions and Catering By Design. Here are two photos of the centerpieces we did:
