SWAT Drill # 32 Homemade Flower

I made this many layered card... full of texture card and made the flower from

many layers of different sized Circles cut using my Kreaxions circle cutter... many layers of 

many colours.. then add some burlap shapes including leaves... and a brad centre.

Many changes of of paper, light dark and many different patterns.

The sentiment is a SRM Sticker.

I added some real stitching, brads and other fabulous accents.

SWAT Drill #31 Color Inspiration

SWAT Drill #31 is a colour scheme inspiring challenge.

I grabbed the pink in the paper, the yellow in the sunset photo and blues in the sky and water in the photos and the dark or black for the photos in the scenes, backgrounds and trees.

I was such a great Florida spread and the nautical accents 

from Creative Embellishments were a perfect fit. I alsoadded some bling using

Robin's Nest diamond dew drops. The upper corner has washi tape and

rubon accents.

Here is more nautical accents with some punchinella,

 a rubon accent border and some brads.

SWAT #30 use the Letters FLOWER and Paper House Products

Today at SWAT we are creating using the word FLOWER.

SWAT Drill #28 - sketch

SWAT DRILL #28 today is a sketch (below) and no twists....
lots of fun circle accents were perfect instead of all doilies.
The one and only doily is Kreaxion Punched doily made using the star template.

Lots of layers, colours and fun accents. I used some metal accents, twine, brads, washi tape,
3 D stickers and textured flowers.

SWAT drill #26 and lots of LOVE

SWAT for today..

Drill# 26 THEME LOVE
Using the theme love I created this page of our family celebrations...
these are always my favourite time spent with family usually over a
family meal, relax time and of course I always love to get the camera
out and pester them to smile nice .....

I love using lots of photos on  a page...and then adding accents... some clustered flowers, with stickles accents, fun burlap bow, some pearls... also some brads and twine to finish it off.

Altered Item into a Shaker

SWAT   today has my post sharing an altered item that

 I changed into a shaker which are so much fun.

Here is a photo of the Jillibean Soup Packaging for the corrugated shapes.

 It is perfect to make a shaker. The plastic dome is perfect but also today 

I am using the background shaped piece. 

Carefully take apart with as little ripping as possible.

I decorated the background packaging of the Jillibean Soup. 

Add the beads to the clear plastic .. I found this the easiest way. 

This way you can add the glue to the edge and flip the other piece on top

 centred within reason with a quick slide to centre it if necessary.

Loved the sports theme on this one.. it will make a great guy card,

 birthday card or just for fun project.

Cover the back side and add the sentiments.

It was so much fun I made another one which I totally papered

 covering the whole background first. I then added some cute accents, 

a banner and a sentiment. After using the same process to add the beads 

I added an accent on the outside to finish it off. 

Hope you enjoyed this today. Take inventory of your packaging of some

 of your scrappy items. How many more of them come in this type of packaging. 

Some of those small kids toys come in plastic domes also. 

Save them and make some of these cute shakers.

SWAT Drill #25

Drill # 25 One Year! 
Its all about 1! use one color (your choice) with Black & White. This is the example.




What a fab colour choice and add 1 more.. I love black and white...
 and I chose to add red..

I had fun fussy cutting, making a medallion accent, adding many layers and then adding my pop of colour -  red ring circle, punchinella and banner colour accent. The title and butterfly were cricut cut..

SWAT #24 challenge has a sketch and it must have some buttons on it.

So using the sketch below.. for this super cute dance page for my friend.. 

it was perfect.. and button accents in floral cluster and up the side was a great touch.

SWAT #23 and my WORD for the New Year

SWAT #23 Challenge was to use either a New Years Resolution, Word, or Goal.

I chose a Word for the year " FAMILY". I love any time spent with family.. whether it's to celebrate together or just enjoy a casual get together. They also are getting used to me getting my camera and 

taking lots of photos.. singles, group and my favourite .. everyone photos .. like the one on my page.

SWAT #21

SWAT challenge #21 is to use a Christmas carol as part of your title... This was just perfect for 

the  photos of my Christmas tree and mantle all decorated and ready to celebrate the season.

SWAT  Drill #18 today is to use this sketch and also use some wood embellishments.

I turned the  sketch.. and it looks just a bit different because of the print on the main 

background paper. But .. following the sketch made it all come together.

It was perfect to have the wood embellies on this page.. especially with  the ancestry feel of

 this page, old black n white photo and the cute twine tied key.

SWAT this week is using my sketch and the twist is twine.
