PEARLS IN THE NET

No prior knowledge of beading is necessary. You learn the tubular netting stitch and embellished with Swarovski pearls.

SPECIAL WORKSHOP

To end the year with the last workshop, I am teaching the above bracelet on the 2nd last week of December 2009. This bracelet has appeared in Bead Friends in 2006.

Kindly note that this workshop is exclusive for my students who had attended my workshop at Bead Hub and we have only 8 seats available.

DECORATIVE WATCH STRAP TEA PARTY

I was engaged by Jaeger-LeCoultre to coach a group of ladies to stitch beads on the watch strap. A fun and excited afternoon for the ladies as they will trying to get the needle onto the watch strap (some needles will bent ...)

The finished watch strap were beautifully done and we have our top 3 winners! (not shown here) These ladies are definitely creative =)

NEW WORKSHOP

A new necklace workshop at Bead Hub. I have not been teaching necklace for a while and I just love the shape of this Swarovski fancy stone. Not too elaborate, a simple and elegant necklace that can be wore anything of the day!

An advanced workshop for the beaders who have already taken my Simply the Ring and Blingalicious Rings classes.

DIFFERENT TYPE OF BEADING

What is beading ?

Beading is attaching beads to one another, to cloth or any other form of materials. Usually using needle with thread, wire, mono-filament (commonly known as transparent thread). Finished beadwork can be in the form of jewellery, bags, shoes, clothes, sculputre and ornament.....

Techniques available:
There are bead knitting, bead crochet, bead stringing, beadweaving (off-loom), loom and bead embroidery.

Beadweaving or Off-Loom Beading & Bead Embroidery

As I have tried all the above techniques, my passion is beadweaving or off-loom beading. With my patience and love, these tiny beads can be transformed into work of art! Be it wearable or non-wearable.

I will be introducing what's the right tools to use in beadweaving soon, come back soon =)

NEW COLORS FOR WORKSHOP @ BEADHUB

Introducing a new color to the Blingalicious ring, Tabac. A workshop is open this Sat, 18 July 2009 at Bead Hub from 11am to 2pm.

Requirements : completed Simply the Ring workshop.

Four new colors of Ooh La La bracelet has been introduced. Please note that they are limited in quantity.

Available workshop on Sat, 1st August 2009 at Bead Hub from 3pm to 5pm (first session) and 8 August 2009 from 3pm to 5pm (second session).

Requirements: No prior experience needed.
