New design

Has been inspired by Jean Power's geometric design that I started beading the bail for this Swarovski pendant. I just love the pendant and the bail look so lovely on it. It's on sale on my web.

Beadwork Aug/Sep 2011

I did a lot of beading from this issue of the Beadwork magazine. These designer are simply fabulous and I just can't stop but to continue from one to the other.

regina's pearls original design from Cynthia Rutledge has a pendant but I was too lazy for that and I made a long necklace.

chain of jewels by Cristie Prince was easy to made but took me 2 weeks to finish.... wow! Lots of work.

Still working on some of the design from this issue, stay tune :)

Floral abundance by Un-Roen Manarata

Floral abundance was a design by Un-Roen Manarata featured in the April 2012 Bead & Button magazine.

A wonderful design to work with. I gone overboard and make a pretty chunky necklace but it's light weight and I simply love it!

Bought more sequins from Un-Roen, just need to find time to string and start my crochet craze again!

A long spiral necklace with a peyote Square link connected to two gold pewter rings. Glass flowers are added as embellishment near the rings. It's beaded in my favourite colour purple!

 4 pairs of earring was done last week, they are now available for sale at Etsy.com

Made these 2 pendants this afternoon, will be giving them away soon! Who's the lucky fella?? ^_^

GOLDA [BF2010426]

This handmade necklace is for blingalicious lovers! 5 pieces of Swarovski crystallize elements on the page complete with a spiral necklace with 2mm crystal stitched. A combination of 24kt gold plated beads with 24 light gold plated beads, finished with gold plated pewter findings.

Necklace measure approximately 18.5" (467cm) long. Available at my Etsy store.

JUNE 2010 BEAD & BUTTON

Floral necklace designed by me is published in the June's 2010 Bead & Button magazine. It's on page 69! Living in a garden city of Singapore gives me lots of inspiration to create =)

LATEST WORK

It's been a while since I last blogged ... adjusting to new life style. But have been keeping myself busy with beading obsession. I wanted to make "Ropes and Rings" by Laura McCabe - from the Apr's issue of the B&B magazine but ended up with 3 pairs of earrings! No bracelet but I'm loving these new earrings =D

This necklace was completed on Friday evening before I embarked on the above earrings. The original design was "Cherry Blossom Bracelet" by Laura McCabe. I didn't fancy the bracelet so I transform it to this long necklace, no clasp and toggle. Just loop over the head. I love making the cherry blossom.

CATCH THE NECKLACE IN THE JUNE'S BEAD & BUTTON MAGAZINE

Was happy to receive the April's issue of the Bead & Button magazine. Was overwhelmed with joy when I flip to page 106 and saw my necklace. Can't wait to see it in the next issue of the magazine =D

WORKING HARD BEFORE THE NEW YEAR

The 2 designs above were finished before the Chinese New Year. The necklace is a design by Lisa Kan, featured in Beadwork (Dec/Jan 2010). Bracelet is by Rachel Nelson-Smith in Beadwork (Feb/March 2010). The bracelet has taken a little longer to finish ... brick stitch. I enjoyed making the neckace, new ideas to try =)

Make this phone pouch for my son's new mobile phone. That's the solar panel on his phone. As no phone pouch was given, need to make one for it. Interesting design as the phone was made from re-cycled materials and the box that came with the phone was also recycled materials! Not so good with the stitching but I tried my best !

COTTON CANDY

I have beading with my left hand (no worries, I was not injured) just that the above piece of gorgeous work designed by Elizabeth Weaver requires me to weave with 2-needle RAW (right angle weave). This is my first attempt working with 2 needles and I have never ever imagine myself holding 2 needles at the same time. (I think I look like a robot beading with 2 hands)

I was pretty good at picking crystals with my left hand, didn't send the crystals flying round my room =D A heavy piece of necklace !

I named it COTTON CANDY as someone on FB told me that Swarovski crystal are like candy, never too much to have them !

APRIL'S BEAD & BUTTON
