Het warme weer van de laatste tijd nodigde niet echt uit om achter de laptop te kruipen….. maar voordat ik op vakantie ga wil ik nog even wat “bloeiende” foto’s laten zien. Zoals van de Hortensia “Annabelle”, zowel voor als achter het huis staan een aantal exemplaren. Ze zijn op het mooist nu want ze staan nog zo mooi rechtop en zien er nog fris uit, hoewel ze het door de hitte en droogte af en toe wel moeilijk hebben….
The warm weather of the last days was not very inviting for blogging….But before I will go on holiday I want to show you some “blooming” pictures. The hydrangea “Annabelle” is blooming exuberant, they are growing in our front- and back garden. They are looking at their best now, still standing upright and looking so fresh, although they have a hard time during these hot and dry days…
De witte hortensia’s op de zuilen staan ook in volle bloei en er komen nog steeds nieuwe knoppen tevoorschijn.
The white hydrangeas on the pillars are blooming as well and also producing new buds.
Ook de blauwe hortensia’s in de voortuin vormen één blauwe bloemenzee!
And the blue hydrangeas in the front garden just looks like a blue sea of flowers!
En over een bloemenzee gesproken, het trapje is inmiddels bedekt met witte lobelia; het lijkt meer op een waterval van witte bloemetjes en ook de druif slingert zich er al aardig doorheen.
And talking about a sea of flowers, the stepladder is covered with white flowers of the lobelia, it looks like a waterfall of white flowers and the grape is curling through the ladder.
De druif zit inmiddels vol met kleine trosjes, ze zien er schattig uit!
The grape is filled with little ropes, they look so cute!
Vorig jaar heb ik een clematis tegen een wand van hedera geplant en hij laat nu zowaar wat bloemen zien!
Last year I planted a clematis against the wall of ivy and to my surprise some flowers appeared!
En tenslotte nog de lelies in de vijver, de witte zijn inmiddels ook opengegaan en het is een komen en gaan van knoppen en bloemen!
And at last the lily’s in our pool, the white ones appeared after the pink ones and the buds and flowers come and go!
Dit is voorlopig mijn laatste blogbericht, ik ga er even een paar weekjes tussenuit, heerlijk vakantie vieren in Italië en Frankrijk!
This was my last post for now, I will have a break for a few weeks to celebrate our holidays in Italy and France!
