Week 2 of Challenge 73 at The Cheerful Stamp Pad…..

Wow there are some great cards for the Angel Wings challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad and there is another week for you to play along with us. The sponsor is Michelle Perkette Studio check it out she has great images.
I was thinking about this challenge and realized I don’t have many :”Angel” stamps but in my stash was Tilda from Magnolia stamps already coloured, I also used a lot of pieces of patterned paper from my stash, so other than the main background I don’t know who they are from.

Love is in the Air with Totally Tilda

I made a card for the Totally Tilda challenge a couple of weeks ago and missed the deadline, (done that one more than once) so thought I would give it another try and it’s getting close to the end of the challenge but I made it this time. I hadn’t gotten my Tildas out for a long time so now I have a reason to give them some LOVE.

It’s about time to ink a Tilda……..

One of the blogs I have subscribed to, there are a few, I saw a challenge for Tilda and mine have not seen ink in a long time, in fact the one I used had never seen ink, well it is two stamps the sitting Tilda is from Magnolia stamps but the bench she is sitting on is from Sugar Plum. Totally Tilda challenge Blog has a challenge every two weeks but I sort of missed the date for  the inspiration challenge to use lots of browns and bright pinks. Please have a look at what I have created.

My newest Tilda…….

A couple of weeks ago I went with my daughter on a “job trip”, she did her job and I went to the Town Scrapper in Petrolia. Phebe is a home based store and open by request so I knocked on the door to see if I could come and browse. I managed to bring home a couple of Tildas, a couple of Penny Black stamps, and a Mo Manning image too. When I got the e-mail from Drunken Stampers that Challenge #82 was “Something New” I just had to ink one of the Tildas up. The image is Tilda with a Hawaiian flower and I coloured her with my prismas and oms with my favourite colour…….a shade of purple. The cardstock I used is pale plum and perfect plum, both are retired Stampin’up colours. I used my new embossing folder from Craft Concepts called Florette.

Want to go Sledding with Tilda?

The weekly MMSC sketch at Pricilla’s Styles is on the blog and what a great sketch it is too. There are choices, Two sketches and it’s your choice, make it fancy, make it clean or somewhere in between. Hop over there and have a peek perhaps you will take the plunge and enter a card, half the work is done for you.
I had the cutest Magnolia image of Tilda with her sled, Here is a great place to get ideas and the Magnolia stamps. I coloured her with prismas and oms, I added white flowersoft to her hat and jacket trim. The flourishes are a cuttlebug die and I used the snowflake embossing folder for half of the background and added the red rhinestones to the corner.

Thanks for stopping by today and come back again real soon, I seem to be on a “crafting roll”

Double Fold Birthday

I found this tutorial at Lynn’s Place here, it was a a challenge to do, I’m hoping if there is a second time it goes easier. I have a bit of a :”stash of coloured images and the image I wanted to use was perfect for the paper in the tutorial and I had some. How cool was that. The butterfly on the card was made with one of the first stamps I bought, it is Vanessa Butterfly from Hero Arts. I coloured the butterfly and coated it with December Sky Shimmerz. The image is Tilda from Magnolia stamps, coloured with pencil crayons and oms, yellow stickles on the flowers.
