Bye Bye Birthday Cheer

Hi stampers!  I'm trying to use a lot of my goodies that are retiring!  This includes the Birthday Cheer Stamp Set and the 6x6 paper stacks!  I combined them into this card!

Tip:  I mounted the DSP on a cardbase of Thick Whisper White Cardstock.

This grouping of in colors are not my favorite but I thought it's probably time I get to using them so I did!  This is kind of bright for me but I don't hate it!

Are you frantically trying to use up retiring items?

Spectacular Cupcakes

Hi stampers!  Happy hump day!  This week is flying by, we have been busy!  Blogging again on location while Ian has his therapy!  Today's card is a simple one but I LOVE it!  The giant greeting makes it really easy to make a fun and simple card!

I simply used a notecard and our Stampin' Blends.  This would be a great card to make if you're new to the blends!   You could make them all the same color or different like I did!

Easy peasy!

Hooray Yippee & Cheers

Hi stampers!  Lookie, I blogged again, ha!  Thanks to some free time I have at Ian's occupational therapy appointment.  He was supposed to officially start last week but with his influenza, he had to miss his first visit  Maybe I can use this time weekly to catch up on the blog!

This card was inspired by one of our amazing concept artists, Melody!  She created a super cute card and it pushed me to do something just a tad different.  It also pushed me to actually ink up this stamp set!  I have so many I haven't used!

I colored my gift with Blends in Call Me Clover, Pool Party, and I layered a couple of pinks for the heart.  I really wish we had a Mambo Melon Blend!  It was looking super plain as I mocked it all up together before adhering everything down, so I added my own background with one of the larger sentiments!  That's an idea and tip I need to remember and try more!

Some actual sequins and it was done!

Bright Birthday

Hi stampers!  Happy Tuesday!  We made it through our busy Monday although I didn't get much extra stuff checked off of my list.  I guess that's what today is for!

I have a bright birthday card for you today!  I saw one similar somewhere last week but I can't remember who it was!  Anyway, this is my take on it.  I used the die and just hand cut small bits of cardstock to adhere behind each gift.  This bundle is just so much fun!

It's hard to see in the photo, but I popped the presents up on dimensionals.  Thankfully, you can't see how crooked my sentiment is with the way I held the card, ha!

This bundle is so cute and so fun.  I can't wait to play with it more!  And Ian has been telling me he has a pile of presents for my birthday later this month (lol).  Maybe this is part of the pile, haha!
