Cirque du Soliel

Waiting to see Ovo.  It was a great show.  I'm glad the boys are old enough we can do stuff like this with them and they enjoy it with us.

Leverage

About a month ago the cable show called Leverage on TNT filmed an episode on our street.  It was an exciting and fun experience.  I even let producers walk our house.  I was hoping they would pick my house so I could watch them film, but they picked an empty house.  :(  But it was still fun to watch everyone walk around and watch them set up scenes and see all their neat equipment.  These pictures below are from when I actually got the courage to go watch.  You have to be absoluetly quiet and they don't let people get close, but I said, hey! I live here. I just want to watch for a minute.  I have some video not posted here of them yelling rolling, and cut and then one of the workers you can see in the pics saw me and walked up and told me to put my camera
away.  Woops :)  This scene was just of the orange car pulling up and there was a female actress that came out of the house.  Not very exciting. No car chases or anything.  Anyway, it is the new season that starts in July and it is episode 7.  We tried to watch some old episodes but it was pretty boring.  It'll be fun to watch this one though.

Sign in my front yard.  In every yard up and down the street.

Dom and Sam Play

A rare moment of Dom and Sam happily playing together.

Multnomah Falls

We hiked to the top of Multnomah Falls with the boys.  It's quite the climb.  The boys did great with very little complaining.  DJ carried Sam most of the way on his shoulders. It was beautiful and stunning!  I love living in the north west!

Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge

 Great Egret

I was lucky enough to spot this coyote.  This is actually the first one DJ and I  have ever seen in the wild. It was pretty exciting. We whistled and it watched us and responded.  He eventually ran off.

Between Lava Beds National Monument and Crater Lake is this Refuge.  DJ and I both agree we need to search out more places like this.  All we did was drive through it and saw some cool wildlife.  I would like to hike around or sit and watch for a while. I also saw (but no one else) a beautiful White Pelican.

Sleepy Boys

All three of the boys travel well. We hardly had any problems this trip.  DJ wouldn't let anyone eat in his car.  Amazing we survivied! ;)

Reno NV

We stayed the night in Reno.  It wasn't very exciting.  We watched a roller derby team practice at a nearby park, had a nice dinner and walked around a shell of a town.  We stayed at Circus Circus and the boys loved playing at the Midway. We won lots of little stuffed animals that they still play and sleep with.  We have zero plans to ever go back to Reno. But I would like to see Lake Tahoe someday soon.
