Snippets 2

Snippets
I love that word!
According to the dictionary a ‘snippet’ is:  a small piece snipped off, a small bit,
scrap, morsel, or fragment
Just for your info as I’m sure you will need to know this -
It is also:  a small or mischievous person.
Hmmm, could be referring to me…?
Okay, now that bit is settled.

 Snippet # 1
DSC02518Once again I was ‘browsing’ the antiques and brocantes,
and happened upon several petite treasures.

A dusty pink jewelry box caught my eye
DSC02520
Luckily there were smaller treasures tucked inside

DSC02522 Two golden filgree lockets, ivory buckle, tie clip, silver charms,
ladies pocket-knives?!  Quite a varied collection!

Snippet # 2
I found a few other vintage lovelies,
and then I remembered I am way overdue for a giveaway!
I’ll be posting the details this week.
I hope you like it!

The rules for the "Make Me Smile Award" is to list 7 things you love about where you live.  Here goes:
  1. I met my honey here in a fairy tale way
  2. We're living here happily ever after...
  3. My French is horrendous - wait! I don't love that
  4. The patisseries!  Okay this is another negative ( none of my summer clothes fit)
  5. The architecture, beauty and history is incredible
  6. French style design, ornate mouldings and sometimes over the top gilt!
  7. Learning to "stop and smell the roses"
  8. Did I mention I met my honey here?  Oops that is one too many!  Sorry!
