Ms. April Does Earth Day!

Hello! Betsie, Ms. April, here. Have you created anything in honor of Earth Day? It was celebrated yesterday on this blog. Today I am sharing with you my project for it. I created a mini album for my trip I recently took to Georgia. I used an old piece of cardboard as my base and pages. I also incorporated scraps of paper I had in my junk pile (I love my junk pile).

I was giddy with excitement because I got the Tattoo Font set the day I was putting it together! It works great with a circle punch.
I used a few envelopes I had in my stash to house my pictures from the trip.

I never know what to do with the cute little pins, so I just stuck them in the flower I made with my left over Primas.

It was fun tearing apart the cardboard, misting, inking and distressing it some more. I also had fun coloring in the BOMBSHELLS and adding a bit of glitter and liquid glass. I must confess that I do believe this is the coolest mini album I have ever made.

Until next time -- HAPPY CRAFTING!

Pin Up Calendar

Hello BOMBSHELLS! Ms. April, Betsie, here! I hate to admit this...well...no I don't....but I have a ton of Bombshell Pin Ups. I thought it would be fun to create a "Pin Up" Calendar with them. I did not associate a year with it because I am not sure if I am going to keep it for myself or give it away. There is a good chance that it will not find a home until 2017 ;-) Therefore, I left the dates blank for now.

Here it is:

I had to keep the entire calendar as flat as possible so it can be hung on a wall and written on. I used Copic markers to color in my Pin Ups and watercolor pencils for the background.

Ms. May – Lucky Bride set

Ms. June – Hawaiian Girl set

Ms. July – Butterfly Queen set

Ms. August – Hula Girl set

Ms. September – Rise and Shine set

Ms. October – Pirate's Life and Holiday Accessory sets

Ms. November – Mermaid Treasure set

Ms. December – Man's Ruin and Holiday Accessory sets

As you can tell, I used the same page design for each month. I wanted to keep it consistent and really let the girl take center stage. I also used the banner stamp and wrote the month. The Holiday Accessories set was used in October and December to make it a bit more festive.
Until next time -- HAPPY CRAFTING! :-D

Girl's Ruin

Hi everyone! Leslie here, Bombshell's Ms. March, sharing a project I created using the awesome Girl's Ruin stamp set and the awesome Bombshell February sketch. I absolutely love sketches and was kind of sad that I didn't get to play with this one last month, so I made time specifically for it this week!

For details and a couple more photos, please see my blog post at Love To Scrap!

And remember, I'm hosting this month's Bombshell challenge... I'm challenging you to a good game of Bombshell Bingo, so come play with us! Link up your project HERE! You may use any company's stamps, but if you use Bombshell stamps, you'll get a second entry which will increase your chance of winning a $20.00 gift certificate to the Bombshell store!

Wear Brown Shoes Day

Greetings! Alison here to bring you the December Wacky Holiday. As always, I get all of my holiday info at Holiday Insights. This month, I was intrigued by Wear Brown Shoes day. It's always celebrated on December 4th, but since we have other goings on for Wednesday, we decided to share it with you today. "It's very easy to participate in this special day. Just dust off that seldom worn pair of brown shoes, and put 'em on your feet. Brown boots, loafers, or any other brown colored footwear will do. Don't tiptoe around. Wear them wherever you go." Here's what some of my teamies and I have created.
