I wud like to intrerdewss wun ov my Bear reeders to yu today. This is Ted. Ted livs wiv Cherrypie. This is him on a trip to Northumberland. Cherrypie sez that he duzz ESP, so he must hav sum very speshol beads in his hed.

I think he wud be the Bear to kno at a piknik, as he looks like he is good at gettin the caykes, an he cud get wun ov thoze good wuns from the other side ov the cloth for yu. Don't yu find that at pikniks? That the best caykes ar always on the far side ov the cloth?

Yu all sit down wile the food is got owt an yor all worreed that yu'll get the salad put over by yor spot but yu try not to show it. Insted, yu engayge in lite conversayshun abowt the wether, or that luvly tree over there, or waz that a robin or a blakberd yu jus herd. But all the time yu keep an eye on wat's goin whare.

An no matter whare yu sit, the best caykes -an even the trifol- ends up on the other side from yu.

The best thing to do is resist sittin wiv yor frends all together. Arraynge it so that yu an yor frends ar evenly playst rownd the cloth. That way, wun ov the best caykes -or even the trifol- is bownd to end up in frunt of wun ov yu, an yu can pertend that yu ar jus leenin over to talk to yor frend -an pik up a bit ov cayke at the sayme time!!
