Starting of School

We made it past our first 2 days of school!!! Brendlee is in Kindergarten and Brilynn is in K-4. Both of the girls have had amazing days at ECS and are really enjoying learning. I am so proud of Brilynn, her teacher told me both days how great she is doing. I have to admitt I have been very nervous about her going to school, but all my fears have been eased with the last 2 days Go Brilynn!!! Today Brendlee had her first playground injury, a black eye, along with a blackened cheek bone. She was such a tough cookie and of course did not even cry about it till she saw her father. Such thankful to be married to a man that my own daughter feel comfortable sharing their hurts and boo boos with knowing that he will care and take care of them. What an emotional last 2 days but ones that will forever be in my memory.

Today I shopped at Summer Fresh, Wal-Mart, and Dollar General and spent $49 and change, I come home with $89.00 (much more if items had been regular price) in product that is a 55% saving!!!

This is my proudest moment yet as a Couponer!!
The Cereal cost $2.00 a box on sale, I used a in store coupon for $3.00 off of 3, than I stacked it with a Manu. Coupon for another $1.00 off, making my total $4.00... Than I turned in my 4 codes that come on the inside of the box for a $5.00 prepaid visa! In the end I made $1.00 for buying 4 boxes of Froot Loops!!!!





Pens were onsale at our local supermarket for 2 for $1.00. I had a manu. coupon for $1.00 off of 2! We got 10 packs!!! Going to need those in our homeschooling journey in the next couple of years!!!

ALL of this for $42.93 plus $59.00 in coupons!!!

This past 2 weeks I have embarked and joined the league of couponers! I have been amazed by the saving I am receiving from using coupons. I have never really considered myself one that would "waste the time" using coupons but I am convinced that I can SAVE BIG.
