As a fan of musicals it was perhaps inevitable that I'd eventually get to the point of thinking I wonder what musicals there are of comics? So without further ado here are the shows I can think of off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more out there so do let me know if you can think of other ones.

I suspect I'll do a post soon on plays based on comics.

New Wimbledon theatre have just announced the staging of Dennis & Gnasher unleashed! the musical

The theatre have this to say about the show...

Dennis and Gnasher Unleashed: The Musical based on the legendary comic characters and the No. 1 animated CBBC series, tells the story of the mischievous twosome and their best friends the Dinmakers; Rubi, JJ and Pieface. Their mission is to save Beanotown from the grips of the evil W Corps!

It's running next year from Tuesday 17th March to Saturday 21st March - (currently) priced very competitively at £13
