Rivers of London - Deadly ever after issue 1 is out today

These all come out today - good luck hunting down all the variants!

I've long enjoyed reading the Rivers of London novels by Ben Aaronovitch and have also been delighted to see the spin-off comics too. It occurs to me that there must be a lot of Rivers comics out there by now, so maybe it's time I started to put together a covers gallery. Let's start with the latest comic first...

Rivers of London comics - Black Mould

I've long enjoyed the Rivers of London book series (by Ben Aaronovitch) and I've been delighted at how many comic spin-off series there have been. Hmmm, I wondered just how many comics are there? Well, time to start looking into this.

So far I've looked at...
Body Work here
Night Witch here
Deadly ever after issue 1 here

Next up...Black Mould. If you spot any comics I've missed just let me know...Also if you can help with cover artist credits that'd be great (all the covers are taken from Ben's website - so the image quality is great but the artist credits are poor, ha ha). Thanks to Chris Nicholls for help with the artist credits.

Rivers of London signing tonight

This is tonight!

Over here Forbidden Planet have announced that Ben Aaronovitch and Andrew Cartmel will soon be  in the London branch of Forbidden Planet to sign copies of 'Action at a distance'

The signing takes place 6-7pm on Friday 15th November and, as the FP website says...

October 1957. A serial killer terrorising the women of Cumbria has moved to the streets of London, with Constable Angus Strallen hot on his heels.

But this murderer has special abilities, and Strallen soon realises he needs the help of an old friend from the front lines who can match this madman’s power, London’s own wizarding police officer, Thomas Nightingale. As the pair move in closer, it quickly becomes clear that murder is not this man’s only intent.
Tying directly into the continuity of the Rivers of London novels and revealing secrets about Nightingale’s past that readers have long-hoped to find out!

Before becoming a bestselling author, BEN AARONOVITCH was a screenwriter for Doctor Who. He now writes full time, and every book in his Rivers of London series has been a Sunday Times Top Ten bestseller. He is published in fourteen languages and has sold more than two million copies around the world. Aaronovitch is also a trustee on the board of Cityread London and is a long-time supporter of Nigeria's premiere arts and cultural festival, The Aké Festival.

ANDREW CARTMEL is a British author and journalist. He was the script editor during the Sylvester McCoy era of the show between 1987 and 1989. He has also worked as a script editor on other television series, as a magazine editor, as a comics writer, as a film studies lecturer, and as a novelist.
