UPDATE 18/05/26: now with the cover for issue #4

From 1993 when, inexplicably, crash test dummies had a moment in the sun comes this tie-in comic The incredible crash dummies. It lasted at least 5 issues. Amy more information welcomed.

I can;t read the issue numbers here so...

I'm guessing the comic on the left is either issue 3 or 4

The issue on the right is number 5

The comic in the middle is titled 'The best of The incredible crash dummies' - no idea how many issues this ran to

Inspired by this post (from friend of the blog Michael Carroll) I thought I'd start trying to fill in the gaps in his (our? my?) knowledge of Superted comic. You know what though? Michael's right...there isn't much out there about Superted comic. A covers gallery is better than nothing though...

At some point Redan were publishing a Superted comic - see below - these issue are #26 & #40 so I wonder if they just took over the licence from Marvel UK at some point and just carried on with the numbering (rather than re-starting from #1?)

So like Michael says there's a lot we don't know about Superted ...

 - how long it ran for?

 - did Redan take over the licence and numbering from Marvel UK

 - when did it end?

...but hopefully we'll fill in a few gaps as we go along. I'd have to say that the covers of Superted appeal to me much more than the likely contents.

Interestingly Redan also published this summer special at some point - as you can see the cover of issue 4 (published by Marvel UK) has been re-cycled for this cover. 

UPDATED: Fantastic Max - 1990 - Marvel & Redan

This was a comic I hadn't come across before until very recently. I like the look of the covers more than the interior work but there you go. The copyright notice state that this is published by Marvel Comics Ltd in association with The Redan company and that's about all I know about it.

...and then at some point it becomes a month title (rather than fortnightly) and the price goes up to 75p (from 55p)

There was also a Spring Special - the advert is taken from a 1992 Superted Spring Special - and says out now so I think we can safely assume this was published.
