A while ago (here) I looked at Ron Smith's contribution to the Nigerian comic 'Pop', sharing the comic at a recent swapmeet with friend of the blog Colin Noble we looked at 'Leo and his magic shoes' but couldn't identify an artist - so I present it here to see if anyone else can...

Pop #37 - lost Ron Smith strip re-discovered
Over here (whilst looking, as ever for me, for all things to do with Powerman comic) I found an advert in the 'Comics 101' booklet / brochure for a comic called 'Pop'...
Up until very recently I had no idea what was in Pop - the good news is that I now have some idea as (thanks to friend of the blog Ron Tiner) I now have a copy of Pop (issue 37 to be precise).
So here it is, this companion to Powerman...
It's a younger version of Powerman really and the most notable contributor is Ron Smith, here's his contribution in full...
Sadly I don;t knwo how long Pop lasted or how few/many issue Ron Smith contributed to.
