Now for card number two :)
You are used to me using the fabulous digital images by Wendy Hall from Digital Delights but today marks a new journey for me as I'm now on her team for her clear stamps produced by Clear Dollar Stamps! She's been designing these for quite a while and I was super happy when I got to be a part of the creating team!
The first set I got to work with is released on May 1st and it's called Pirate Ahoy!
And we now have coordinating digital stamps to go with the set so you get both experiences in one card!
These are the fabulous clear stamps;

And these are the digi's!

I made a card using both and I hope you like it :)

I printed 3 of the ships and used them as a border. I also stamped the pirate twice and popped him up for dimension.
Then I added glossy accents to his boots, buckle and the water and windows on the boats.

This sure is a super fun set.
Thanks for looking at both cards today :)

Tear an edge or use deco scissors

Remember the challenge includes all of the above and anything else you want to add.

A few challenges helped me too:

Creative Cottage also wants Flowers

Card Recipe:
Image - Tilda with Teddy Bear from Magnolia-licious
Paper - K & Co
Medium - Copic Markers
Fabric - Unknown
Brads - The Paper Studio
Sentiment - Studio G for Michaels

I tore the background strip behind Tilda, sewed the fabric flowers (my new favorite thing) and I slightly distressed and inked the edges which is a favorite technique of mine.
I tried to do the Distress Ink coloring look with my Copic's ala Suzanne Dean and although I followed her You Tube video I think I'll need to practise a little more but I really like how this Tilda turned out.

I hope you've liked my little Tilda and that you'll join me over at Cooking It Up With Katie

Card recipe:

Dies - Nestabilities Oval and Scalloped Oval
Spring Sticker - Doodlebug Tags and Tabs

Treehouse Stamps- Say It With Love- Featured Stamper

Happy Thursday,
Another week has rolled around and it's time for another challenge at Treehouse Stamps
Each week we have a featured stamper from the design team and this time it's ME!

The challenge was "Say It With Love" and I've already made enough Valentines cards this year so I took the theme in another direction.
I decided to use one of the new release digital stamps ( Little Miracles out TODAY!) and make a "Baby Love" card. Also if you've been following my cards for a while you'll know that I LOVE Paper Piecing and I use that technique in this card so it's LOVE times two!

I did use a few other challenges to help me out.

Die Cut Dreams wanted you to Have a Heart
Polkadoodles wanted Paper Piecing
Fun With Shapes want Hearts and Stripes
Kaboodle Doodle wanted Spots and Stripes
Lexi's want Spots or Stripes
Friday Sketchers had a great sketch
Humble Pie had a Love theme
Just Cute Bears wanted Hearts along with a Teddy Bear
Crafty Cardmakers wanted Digital Delights
Stamp With Sarah Kay wanted a Baby Card

This cute little girl was from the Little Miracles set and was printed on to 4 different colored cardstocks and then paper pieced. Afterwards I added highlights with my Copic's for good measure.
I cut and matted her with Quickutz Nesting Circle dies.
The papers are all K&Co from the Itsy Bitsy Baby Girl pad and the sentiment is K&Co too.
The heart border punch is Martha Stewart and I double punched it to make a heart paper lace. Then I added Queen and Co pearls in alternating sizes along it.

Inside is more dp and a message mat.

I hope you can see the paper piecing on this little girl.
I'd love you to join in the challenge at Treehouse Stamps this week!

Treehouse Stamps Challenge- Flowers and Butterflies

Happy Thursday everyone!
It's time for another challenge at Treehouse Stamps.
This weeks featured Design Team member is Kelly and you can see her wonderful creations at Kelly's Stampin Habit. She's a little "creatively challenged" at the moment as her right arm is in a cast but she still made a wonderful card for the challenge this week!
This weeks challenge was to included both Flowers and a Butterfly (or two) on your project and it was nice to get in the mood for the upcoming Spring season.

I found a few other challenges that helped me create this card.

Mojo Monday gave me the sketch
Frosted Designs want to see Chipboard
Cute Card Thursday had a "Blooming Gorgeous" theme
Die Cuts R Us wanted to see Ribbon
Saturday Spotlight had a Sunshine theme
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle had a Spring theme
Corrosive wanted Fancy Folds
Cupcake Crafts wanted a Matching Set
Practical Scrappers wanted Patterned Paper
Flutterby Wednesdays had an Open theme as long as it has an Angel, Fairy or Butterfly on it
Quixotic had a challenge of Flutterby

I made an easel card with a matching bookmark using the Tulips from the Spring Blessings digital stamp set
I printed two of the images in a large form for the card and 3 smaller ones for the bookmark. I colored the images and cut out one of the large ones and popped it up on to the one on the card.
The Copic colors I used are G82, G94, Y11, Y15, Y21, Y35, Y38 and YR65. I outlined the images with W1.
The green dp is Love Elsie and the yellow polka dots is K&Co.
The sentiment is K&Co too.
The chipboard butterflies are American Crafts.
The border punch is Martha Stewart.

I used dewdrops on the top of the message mat to make the card "stopper".

Here you can see the depth on the flowers.

I put the bookmark in a bookmark cover and added a ribbon to the top.

So dust off your Spring supplies, find a blue sky for inspiration and create a design for us all to see!

What's New Pussy Cat? - Challenge #9 at Cooking It Up!

Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another challenge over at my Cooking It Up With Katie card recipe blog.

This time the recipe is:
1. Use a "non human" image
2. Add some texture
3. Use a product you've never used before.

As always I couldn't stop at just one challenge and had to add just a couple (20!) more! LOL
Friday Sketchers had a super sketch
Corrosive wanted you to "Go Digi"
Cute Card Thursday had a color combo of Pink and Grey
Bee Crafty wanted your Favorite Color combo and a digi image
Incy Wincy wanted your favorite coloring medium
Paperplay had a "Furry Friends" theme
Crafty Pad also had an Animals theme
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle had a Girly theme and so did Scrap and Stamp Saturday
Secret Saturday Crafter had a "Musical" theme and I think the sentiment on this card works for that ;)
Raise The Bar is a brand new challenge and they wanted you to "Debut" something and this image is super new and it's definitely making its Debut!
Dare U 2 Digi wanted to see Buttons and so did Little Paper Shop. I used my Buttons border embossing folder and I hope that counts!
Daring Cardmakers had a Hole In One theme
Crafty Ann wanted to see some Embossing
and so did Practical Scrappers
A Spoon Full Of Sugar wanted to see "Lots of Layering"
Creative Card Crew want you to "Punch It!" and so do Simon Says Stamp
Belli wanted Hearts

As a cat love I just couldn't resist using one the fabulous new images from Lily Boo's Cat Collection
I colored her with Copic's and gave her a very regal bow to go with her regal look! LOL
The dp is Imaginisce "Fairest of the All" which I thought was fitting for the Princess ;)
I used Martha Stewarts Valentines Lace border punch to create "Paper Lace" in two different widths to fit with the sketch. I added a row of embossed Buttons from the Cuttlebug border folder and added silver to the "holes" on the buttons. Then I added a few pink rhinestones for an even more "girly" feel.
Finally I printed out the sentiment and cut and nested it with a scalloped circle Nestie.
I added a few more touches of silver with my Prismacolor pen.

Inside is more of the super sweet dp and a message mat.

Here's a close up of "Her Royal Highness"! LOL
Be sure to go and play in my challenge at Cooking It Up With Katie as you'll have a chance to win the image set this kitty came from or your choice of any set that you can see at Lily Boo's Boutique!
